Fantasy Football Waiver Wire - Week 10
(Following Week 9's NFL Games)
This is our waiver wire pick-ups
column. The WagerOnFootball.com staff will scour
the free agent pools in fantasy land for the best
available talent every week. Availability, of course,
depends on the league. We’re using 12 team,
15 roster spot leagues as the median, but we’ll
look for roster candidates for leagues of all shapes
and sizes. Grab the following before NFL Week 10.

FANTASY FOOTBALL WAIVER WIRE
Kurt Warner/Josh McCown
Waiver
Wire - QUARTERBACKS
Could we see the
return of Josh McCown very soon? Kurt Warner
was intercepted three times by the Seahawks,
and heard jeers from the Cardinals fans throughout
much of the day. Regardless of which QB lines
up under center for Arizona, the Cardinals
put the ball in the air as much as any team
in recent memory—an average of 42 times
per game.
Brooks Bollinger
Jets QB Brooks Bollinger completed 11 of
20 attempts on Sunday for two TDs and no interceptions.
He added some much-needed spark for the New
York offense and is worth consideration as
a fantasy reserve if he continues to start.
Greg Jones
Waiver
Wire - RUNNING BACKS
Fragile Fred is at it again and fantasy leaguers
should have some serious concerns about his
injury. It is the same ankle that bothered
Taylor a few weeks ago. Obviously, you should
be ready to use a backup if possible, and
Greg Jones becomes a possible fantasy starter
for Week 10.
Sam Gato
With Tony Fisher expected to miss some time
with a cracked rib, Gado is more than a flash
in the pan. Acquiring him should be a priority
if you’ve been struggling to field a
decent rushing attack. You won’t find
an RB with more upside at this point. Next
opponent: @ Atlanta.
Duce Staley
The Steelers will likely give Staley the
opportunity to contribute more during their
stretch run as long as he stays healthy. His
reemergence certainly hurts the value of Parker,
who still has the potential to have a big
game or two based on his ability to break
off long runs.
Cedric Benson
With the Bears leaning towards holding Jones
(ribs) out this week, Benson could be in line
to start Sunday's game vs. the 49ers. Benson
ran well in place of the injured Jones last
week, racking up 79 yards on 14 carries against
the Saints. If given an expanded role Sunday,
there's no reason why the rookie should not
post very good numbers against the poor San
Francisco defense.
Michael Bennett
Bennett carried the ball 18 times for 106 yards
vs Detroit on Sunday. He displayed the speed
and elusiveness that fantasy owners coveted
during his rookie season. He added a touchdown
reception to cap off an exceptional fantasy
performance. Before writing off Bennett, it’s
worth considering that head coach Mike Tice
has always been a Bennett supporter.
Bobby Engram
Waiver
Wire - WIDE RECEIVERS
Engram made it thru game 1 back from his
sore injuries just fine, and now with one
week out of the way Engram can regain his
role as the teams #1 WR this week in what
should be a high scoring Hawks vs Rams game
from Qwest Field. Keep him in until Jackson
returns from his knee injury.
Reggie Brown
We could put Lewis here for the Eagles but I
think Brown has more explosiveness and ability.
Especially in keeper leagues this guy should
be on your rosters now. Put Brown at the top
of your list because he had a better game on
Sunday, but Lewis will also be an integral part
of the Eagles offense and deserves more than
a passing glance.

FANTASY FOOTBALL WAIVER WIRE
Erron Kinney
Waiver
Wire - TIGHT ENDS
If he's still available grab him now. One
player who has stayed under the radar all
season is Tennessee TE Erron Kinney. At 6-foot-6
and 275 pounds, he might be the world's biggest
security blanket. The Titans' passing scheme
is skewed toward the tight end position, and
QB Steve McNair loves throwing to Kinney's
huge frame and sure hands.
Lions DST
Waiver
Wire - DST's
The Cardinals Suck....enough said. Grab the
Lions and hang on for the ride if you need
DST help this week.
