NCAA Football Teams
Under a three-division
reorganization plan adopted by the special NCAA Convention
of August 1973, teams classified major-college in football
on August 1, 1973, were placed in Division I. College-division
teams were divided into Division II and Division III.
At the NCAA Convention of January 1978, Division I was
divided into Division I-A and Division I-AA for football
only. For our betting and college football wagering purposes
we're just listing the major conferences in our mind.
It's not like some school from the MAAC will ever get
a BCS bid right? Any team listed here is a team we feel
has a shot at a BCS bid. Nobody else matters do they?
