This is our waiver wire pick-ups
column. The WagerOnFootball.com staff will scour
the free agent pools in fantasy land for the best
available talent every week. Availability, of course,
depends on the league. We’re using 12 team,
15 roster spot leagues as the median, but we’ll
look for roster candidates for leagues of all shapes
and sizes. Grab the following before NFL Week 15.

FANTASY FOOTBALL WAIVER WIRE
David Gerrard
Waiver
Wire - QUARTERBACKS
Garrard had 250
and a score, plus mixed in a rushing TD against
an excellent Colt defense. He’s become
as much a rushing threat from the five-yard
line on in as Greg Jones. Garrard is worth
a long look against the 49ers.
Ryan Moats
Waiver
Wire - RUNNING BACKS
We're leaving Moats up here for one more week
just in case you didn't listen to us last
week. Moats should be considered priority
#1 for owners who are in the playoff mix.
Next team he faces is against St. Louis. The
rookie has game-breaking speed and considerable
playing time coming his way with the departure
of Brian Westbrook for the season due to injury.
Cedrick Houston
Houston is a must add in fantasy, but not necessarily
a must play. If your bench is thin he'll provide
insurance.
Mark Clayton
Waiver Wire - WIDE
RECEIVERS
Clayton is starting to get worked more into
the Ravens' offense, getting targeted seven
times against the Steelers last Sunday. QB
Kyle Boller still is a big strike against
him, but Clayton's ability to separate on
short and intermediate, sure hands and slipperiness
after the catch make him worth a look in some
matchups.
Sammie Parker
Like Clayton, he’s another rookie who
hasn’t provided fantasy owners with the
level of consistency to be a reliable receiver.
Parker has 372 yards in 2005, but he’s
getting more attention lately. Parker is an
undersized but cat-quick speed demon in the
mold of WR Santana Moss. Trent Green has caught
fire down the stretch here and he's lookin Parker's
way.
David Martin
Waiver
Wire - TIGHT ENDS
With Franks’ recent injury troubles,
Martin has secured the role of top tight end
for the Packers. He hauled in five passes
on Sunday night. As long as Martin remains
the #1 TE, he can be relied upon as a fantasy
starter.
Olindo Mare
Waiver
Wire - KICKERS
Olindo Mare has shown signs of aging, but he
quietly has put together a decent 2005 season.
He is five for five outside of 40 yards, but
has missed four from within 40 yards. Mare went
4-for-5 in field goal attempts for the Dolphins
on Sunday.
