This is our waiver wire pick-ups column. The WagerOnFootball.com staff will scour the free agent pools in fantasy land for the best available talent every week. Availability, of course, depends on the league. We’re using 12 team, 15 roster spot leagues as the median, but we’ll look for roster candidates for leagues of all shapes and sizes. Grab the following before NFL Week 16.

Josh McCown	Waiver Wire - QUARTERBACKS Back to the Bench for Warner (out for the year with a bum knee). McCown now gets to chuck it around the yard to Boldin and Fitz.
Rex Grossman	Grossman has fantasy starter upside after making his debut vs the Falcons on Sunday night. The upside is he'll be on the field a lot with that great D he has, plus him and Muhammed will pick up right where they left off in the preseason.
Cedrick Houson	Waiver Wire - RUNNING BACKS Jets rookie RB Cedric Houston rushed for 84 yards and caught for another 40 yards at Miami in Week 15. Houston seems to be giving the Jets offense a rushing identity. Too bad he's up against the Patriots in Week 16
Marion Barber	He's the goalline back in BIGD. Plus he carried the ball 10 times for 30 yards in Week 15 at Washington. Julius Jones got 12 carries to Barber's 10, but who knows which RB will get more action in Week 16 at Carolina.
Antonio Bryant	Waiver Wire - WIDE RECEIVERS He had 86 yds vs the Raiders on Sunday. Bryant is a decent No. 3 or 4 Fantasy receiver or 'flex' player for Week 16 against Pittsburgh, as the Browns should be playing from behind most of the day and passing to get back into the game.
Kelly Washington	Kelly had 4 catches for 48 yds and a TD vs the Lions on Sunday. Watch for him to start seeing some more time down the stretch here with TJ (banged up) and Chad Johnson surely seeing a decrease in playing time once the Bengals playoff position is determined.
Brandon Stokley	Stokley's skills haven't diminished since last season, but his numbers certainly have. Look for him to see more playing time in the last two weeks with Wayne, Edge, Harrioson being rested.

Jerramy Stevens

Waiver Wire - TIGHT ENDS

Jerramy Stevens caught another touchdown pass Sunday against Tennessee. He now has TD receptions in back-to-back games. The return of WR Darrell Jackson made it tougher for the Titans to double-team him.

Doug Jolley

Usually Jolley offers Brooks Bollinger a reliable short-yardage target, especially when Bollinger is under pressure. But with limited downfield opportunities, Jolley is not always a reliable fantasy tight end. Doug Jolley proved that a newbie QB like Brooks Bollinger can have a huge game.

Ravens DST

Waiver Wire - DEFENCE

The Ravens have had 4/15 really good defensive weeks. Does this make them a team you can count on as we role on in the fantasy playoffs? I think so.

Patriots DST

Having secured a third straight AFC East title with Saturday's shutout victory over the Tampa Bay Bucs, the New England Patriots can now begin looking seriously, and with a renewed degree of optimism as well, at defending a far more important championship.
