FANTASY
FOOTBALL WHO'S HOT - AFTER WEEK 14
Mark Clayton WR
Week 15 Outlook: Mark Clayton
has 34 catches in his rookie season, but
really has not been much of a factor or
weapon in Baltimore's passing game and has
a long way to go yet in his development.
Jeremy Shockey TE
Week 15 Outlook: Kansas City's
secondary has no one who can handle Shockey
downfield or in the red zone and the Giants'
tight end should dominate in this matchup.
Larry Johnson RB
Week 15 Outlook: Johnson has
been outstanding since Priest Holmes' season-ending
injury and he should find success running against
a Giants' defense struggling with injuries,
especially in its interior.
Bobby Engram WR
Week 15 Outlook: CB Pacman
Jones has the explosiveness and agility to stay
with Engram, whose speed and quickness are only
average these days. But Engram has the route-running
savvy to separate from Jones, and he even holds
big-play promise this week because Tennessee
will focus so much attention on stopping RB
Shaun Alexander.
Seattle DST
Week 15 Outlook: Seattle doesn't
do anything fancy in its 4-3, but it has been
effective because of the pressure the Seahawks'
offense puts on opponents and because the front
four has been able to generate a pass rush on
its own.
Chris Chambers WR
Week 15 Outlook: Chambers has been
outstanding in recent weeks but faces a difficult
challenge- CB Ty Law- against the Jets. Law
isn't quite the playmaker he was earlier in
his career but he is still effective and will
give Gus Frerotte pause before throwing Chambers'
way.
Michael Bennett RB
Week 15 Outlook: Michael has played
well of late, but he still only averages 3.2
yards per carry and only has two touchdowns
on the ground. Bennett will have to capitalize
on his off tackle runs, as the Steelers will
dominate the interior of the field.
DeShaun Foster RB
Week 15 Outlook: Foster was manhandled
last week against Tampa's 5th ranked run defense.
The Saints' run defense- ranked 29th. Expect
a major turnaround from Foster. New Orleans'
linebackers are barely average against the run
and the Panthers' frequent two-TE sets should
provide Foster with plenty of second-level blocks.
Clinton Portis RB
Week 15 Outlook: Dallas' front seven
is built on speed and athleticism and Portis
should have success running behind the mammoth
right side of his offensive line- Jon Jansen
and Randy Thomas. Joe Gibbs will focus on
controlling the clock and limiting Dallas'
offensive possessions
Rudi Johnson RB
Week 15 Outlook: Detroit DTs Shaun
Rogers and Dan Wilkinson can be difficult for
any team to run on, but both tend to wear down
and Cincinnati has a big, sound offensive line
that has played together for some time. More
important, the Bengals will have quality blocking
matchups on the edges
Alge Crumpler TE
Week 15 Outlook: Crumpler's size and
agility make him a special player who is a difficult
matchup for any defender or scheme, and QB Michael
Vick favors him over any other Atlanta pass-catcher.
This week he has a tough matchup however vs
Urlacher and Co.

FOOTBALL WHO'S NOT HOT - FOLLOWING WEEK 14
Bubba Franks TE
Week 15 Outlook: Franks' back/neck
injury should keep him out of this game like
last week
Justin Gage WR
Week 15 Outlook: The 6-4, 212-pound
Gage gives Chicago a huge size mismatch to exploit
working against 5-9, 187-pound CB Jason Webster.
But the Bears' offense is dominated by the run
game, and Gage now is essentially splitting
time with WR Bernard Berrian
Derrick Mason WR
Week 15 Outlook: Derrick Mason
has 69 catches this season, but only two touchdowns
and has not been a big play guy since arriving
in Baltimore. Mason still runs exceptional routes
and can set up defenders very well, but defenses
are taking away his big plays
Robert Ferguson
WR
Week 15 Outlook: He is a much-needed
weapon for Brett Favre to look to, while taking
some pressure off of Donald Driver. That being
said, Ferguson is not a reliable producer and
should not be counted on yet despite his talent
level.
Ryan Fitzpatrick
QB
Week 15 Outlook: The Rams have
lost four of their last five and need to give
Ryan Fitzpatrick live snaps to help his development.
It is clear that the jump from Harvard to the
NFL has been too much for the intelligent Fitzpatrick
and the speed of the game has caused forced
throws and interceptions.
Randy Moss WR
Week 15 Outlook: The Raiders have obvious
quarterback concerns and have underutilized
Randy Moss all season, but it doesn't take long
to see that Moss is not fully healthy. He lacks
the special burst and fluidity that made him
an elite player. On paper, this is an outstanding
matchup and Moss is still certainly capable
Jeff Garcia QB
Week 15 Outlook: Garcia is mobile,
experienced and theoretically should be more
effective as he continues to recover from a
preseason leg fracture and gets comfy in Detroit's
scaled-back passing scheme. But he can't count
on help from the run game
Texans DST
Week 15 Outlook: Houston's 3-4 defense
delivers pressure from unexpected angles, which
could be a problem for an Arizona offensive
line that lacks quality talent and hasn't played
together very long.
Alex Smith QB
Week 15 Outlook: With only two wins
this season, San Francisco has handed the quarterback
job to first overall selection Alex Smith. Although
his 0/9 TD/INT ratio hasn't shown it, he has
improved over the last few weeks and is beginning
to better handle the speed of the NFL game.
Fred Taylor RB
Week 15 Outlook: Fred Taylor was pulled
in the second half against Indianapolis in favor
of Greg Jones, but it does appear as though
his ankle is finally healthy. This game against
San Francisco is obviously a favorable matchup
Mark Brunell QB
Week 15 Outlook: After throwing three
interceptions in the red zone against the Cardinals
last week, Brunell will be on a very short leash
against the dangerous Cowboys' defense. In a
game likely to be dominated by field position
Aaron Brooks QB
Week 15 Outlook: Brooks' spotty decision-making
was on display again last week during the Saints'
loss to the Falcons. HE HAS NOW BEEN
BENCHED...MIGHT OF EVEN PLAYED LAST GAME AS
A SAINT.
