We are underway here
at Wageronfootball.com. Football season is in
full season mode. Thursday
Night Football is
underway here on my TV, ahhhh I love this time
of year! Don't you?
Last
season, there were some early scoreboard blowouts
that led people to believe we were going to
have another "year
of the favorite" in pro football. And, even if
they weren't prone to take every favorite, they
believed that certain teams were going to be
dominant on a regular basis.
Despite a reputation of parity in the NFL, we suddenly saw a ton of underdog
wins last week, and some out of control scores
(See Cleveland vs Cinci). In week 3 action I
think you'll see the home sides pile up a few
more wins this week, so that's where I'm laying
my $$.
There are some
great college
football matchups on tap for
this week as well. starting tomorrow with OU
visiting Tulsa. On Saturday we've got some
great matchups featuring the teams in the Top
25 rankings. No. 1 Southern Cal vs. Washington
State, 8 p.m.
No. 2 LSU vs. No. 12 South Carolina, 3:30 p.m.
No. 3 Florida at Mississippi, 12:30 p.m.
No. 5 West Virginia vs. East Carolina, Noon
No. 6 California vs. Arizona, 6 p.m.
No. 7 Texas vs. Rice, 7 p.m.
No. 8 Ohio State vs. Northwestern, 3:30 p.m.
No. 9 Wisconsin vs. Iowa, 8 p.m.
No. 10 Penn State at Michigan, 3:30 p.m.
No. 13 Oregon at Stanford, 10 p.m.
No. 14 Boston College vs. Army, 1 p.m.
No. 15 Clemson at N.C. State. So get off your ass and get your bets in now on
your favorite college
football teams.
