Another great week is in the books
for NFL fantasy football. I lost in two leagues
in the playoffs, and I won in two leagues. You know
what? I actually thought I'd win in the two I lost...and
vice versa. Just shows you how crazy FF is at this
time of the year. Memo to Holt, LT, Chambers. You
guys SUCK!!!!
Week 15 was a busy week with regard
to injuries. Here's a quick list of guys getting
dinged up on Sunday from a fantasy perspective;
Gus Frerotte (MIA) - Injured finger, Steven Jackson
(STL) - Minor hip pointer, Eddie Kennison (KC) -
Sprained knee, Josh McCown (ARZ) - Flu, LaDainian
Tomlinson (SD) - Unspecified injury, Kurt Warner
(ARZ) - Knee sprain, out for season, Ronnie Brown
(MIA) - Knee sprain, T.J. Houshmandzadeh (CIN) -
Sprained foot

QB Reports - Week 15
- I'm not sure what fountain of youth
Mark Brunell is drinking out of, but I'd like
a taste. Dude was playing out of his shoes
on Sunday, and threw three TD passes to TE
Chris Cooley. Wow. The Redskins if the season
ended today would be in the playoffs. 2 Weeks
to go Snyder!!!
Down in Nashville Matt Hasselbeck lived up
to his nickname Mr. December again throwing
for another 3 TD passes, to Stevens, Jackson
and Juro. He's only had 1 turnover on the
road in 7 games now this year. His offense
is clicking even more so now with DJack back
in the fold. All 007 Brady did on Saturday
was lead his team to another HUGE win at home.
New England is flying under the radar and
appear poised for playoff success. They'll
be hosting a playoff game in the wildcard
round, and we all know Brady hasn't lost in
the playoffs...EVER.
Palmer had a steady game against the Lions
although he'll want his two picks back I'm
sure. The Bengals are in a race with the Broncos
for that first round bye week. Against the
Hawks the OLE MVP tossed up over 300 yds,
thru 2 TD's to Drew Bennett and just missed
Bennett for a third, in a loss to the Seahawks.

Running Backs
Key
Stats
T. Barber, NYG
249 yds, 2 TD
L. Johnson, KAN
184 yds, 2 TD
R. Johnson, CIN
131 yds, 2 TD
J. Wells, HOU
98 yds, 2 TD
M. Anderson, DEN
101 yds, 2 TD
S. Alexander, SEA
172 yds, 1 TD
Running Backs Report:
Week 15 - Stud Of The Week: Tiki Barber (NYG)
- Facing the #8 defense against running backs
this week in a must-win game, Barber merely
reeled off 220 yards on 29 carries with two
scores and 29 more yards on five receptions.
That makes Barber as the only runner this
season with two 200+ rushing yard games. That'll
win a few fantasy playoff games.
On the other side of the field the guy that
would win the NFL rushing title if he played
every game Larry Johnson put up 184 yds and
2 TD's. Great effort in a losing battle. The
Giants took a huge jump towards winning their
division and the Chiefs all but buried their
playoff hopes.
Rudi Johnson killed me in one league. All
Marvin had to do was take Rudi out in the
4th QTR with a 21 pt lead...but no...he leaves
him in and Rudi kills me, in addition the
the Bears D Sunday night. Brutal!!! I hate
the Bengals even more now. Dominick Davis
missed another game this year and Jonathon
Wells came in for him and put up solid numbers
against a pathetically banged up Cardinals
Defense.
On Saturday Mike Anderson carried for 101
yds and put up 2 rushing touchdowns to carry
Denver past the Buffalo Bills on the road.
Shanahan is really pushing some running back
buttons again....like usual. The Titans couldn't
stop Alexander on Sunday and he went off for
170+ yards in a great effort. He now has 24
TD's, and is 3 away from tying Priest Holmes
season TD record. How do you spell M-V-P?
Note: Two of this year's other stud running
backs came up a bit short this week, and if
you owned them and started them, well, you
probably lost. Edgerrin James was held to
just 25 rushing yards (but did have a score)
by the Chargers' stout run defense. In that
same game, LaDainian Tomlinson had 74 yards
on the ground (but no scores) and sat out
the last couple of drives with a rib injury.
Michael Turner filled in and ripped off the
clinching 83-yard touchdown run.
Fantasy
Wide Receivers
Key
Stats
S. Smith, CAR
105 yds, 2 TD
C. Johnson, CIN
108 yds, 1 TD
D. Bennett, TEN
96 yds, 2 TD
D. Givens, NWE
150 yds, 1 TD
A. Boldin, ARI
134 yds, 1 TD
Wideouts Report: Week 15 - Gone
from this list are Torry Holt, T.O., the 2
week breakout guy Chris Chambers, and Randy
Moss (although he did have 1 TD on Sunday).
In our the new cream of the crop of the NFL
Wide Receivers.
Steve Smith was awesome yet again and once
more is back in the running for NFL MVP. He
is carrying the Carolina Offense this year.
If there were any doubts surrounding Chad
Johnson following a two-catch, 22-yard performance
in Week 14, he quickly erased them. The exciting
Cincinnati wideout caught 11 passes for 99
yards and a TD in a rout of Detroit.
I nearly benched Chris Chambers for Drew
Bennett because I know the Hawks secondary
has problems thru injury. I should have followed
my gut instinct, if I had started Bennett
I'd of won in my big $ league. I didn't...I'm
out. He's a nice 2 week sleeper for the playoffs
now that he's healthy. Plus the Titans aren't
mailing the season in. They play hard for
Fisher.
Brady found Givens for some huge plays on Saturday,
he's also emerging as a 2 week sleeper for your
title run. Three QB's played in Arizona on Sunday.
Warner is out for the year with a bum knee,
McCown had the flu so Dave Navarre was in there
chucking the ball to the explosive tandem of
Boldin and Fitzgerald. (Studs). Boldin makes
the Week 15 list with 134yds and a TD. He is
just an awesome talent.
TIGHT
ENDS
Key
Stats
C. Cooley, WAS
71 yds, 3 TD
D. Jolley, NYJ
102 yds, 1 TD
Tight Ends Report- Week
15 - Gates was held in check, Gonzo
the same, so was Shockey for that matter.
It was the emerging Chris Cooley who stole
the show in the nations capital on Sunday.
He was on the receiving end of 3 Brunell TD
passes. Cooley not only enjoyed a career best
game, he doubled his amount of touchdowns
on the year. Great game by a breakout talent.
Jets tight end Doug Jolley finally looked
like the player the Jets traded a first-round
pick for last offseason. He reached the 100-yard
mark for just the second time in his career
and caught his first scoring pass as a Jet.

NFL
FANTASY FOOTBALL WEEKLY DUDS - WEEK 15
Fantasy Dud News: Dud Of the Week:
Hines Ward (hands down). He's teased you guys
all year, and when us FFL players need him
most he does this. 2 catches 11 yards. Thanks
Hines.
Try not to fall asleep during the MNF game
tonight ok? Here's a quick Monday
Night Football Betting Preview for you.
For many owners, the best players are only
as good as their current game. Even if a guy
has run for 20,000 yards and 150 touchdowns
throughout the season, if he goes for just
25 yards and zero TD's in the fantasy playoffs,
he's crap. So not only do you want your studs
to produce all season long, you want them
to produce when it counts, the fantasy playoffs.
With only two games left before the NFL playoffs,
you won't see Manning, James, Harrison and
Wayne play full games, and there's a very
good chance they might only play for limited
periods if they do start. Tony Dungy likely
doesn't want his best guys going into the
postseason on too much rest. But Indianapolis'
big four now all become very shaky fantasy
starters for Week 16, and there's an excellent
possibility you might not see much of them
at all in Week 17. We might be pointing out
the obvious here, but it's definitely worth
noting that you must begin to consider other
starting options for the final weeks of your
fantasy playoffs.
Chargers RB LaDainian Tomlinson left Sunday's
game with bruised ribs, the same injury he
has been battling the past couple weeks. RB
Michael Turner broke off a long run in relief
to ensure victory for San Diego, demonstrating
he could be a valuable fantasy option if pressed
into starting duty. Tomlinson's injury hasn't
held him out of games yet, but keep an eye
on him this week, as Turner could have some
value if he plays in Week 16.
It'll be Christmas before I write this again,
so everyone have a happy holiday and hopefully
you get something cool from your wife, husband
or kids.
