| The
26-year-old gambler from Circle Pines, Minn.,
has used his football knowledge and keen eye to
take advantage of as-it-happens wagering during
the postseason. He cited the New England Patriots
as an example of how he was able to cash in, saying
he noticed a tendency on offense that allowed
him to correctly predict outcomes of certain situations.
"I felt like throughout
the playoffs I watched the Patriots several times
and knew what they did in certain situations,"
Fanberg told Bodog Nation. "They seemed to
pass on first down a lot more than other teams,
I made five or six hundred on the divisional playoffs."

the game more exciting," Fanberg explained.
"The biggest thing is have fun with it, it’s
a rush."
As fun and exciting as it
is, a smart bettor shouldn’t get too carried
away by betting on every scenario that pops up
on the screen. Money on "LIVE" can take
your wallet on a rollercoaster ride like any game
of Holdem or Blackjack. Therefore, the trick to
getting hot is similar to an offensive coordinator
calling a flee-flicker. Pick your spots.
"I try to stay away
from the run or pass plays and bet on single drives,"
Fanberg said. "I think whether or not it’s
gonna be a run or pass is less predictable whereas
a drive, I feel I can predict that."
And like any good coach,
knowing a team's strengths and weaknesses is integral
to being successful.
How many times does the team
run on third down? Do they usually pass out of
a time out? Do they concentrate more on the run
in the first half? Figuring out the answers to
questions like these could make or break your
balance.
"That's my other main
focus," Fanberg said. "Don’t bet
every play unless you feel like you have an advantage."
If you plan on wagering live
on Super Bowl Sunday, Fanberg also has another
piece of advice.
"If you really wanna
do well review some game film," Fanberg said.
"Probably not too convenient, but if it’s
a team you’re familiar with you’re
going to do a lot better."
