WEEK 11 NFL Power Rankings

 

Most of the teams favored to win last week did in fact win, with the exception of the Atlanta Falcons who were embarrassed by the Green Bay Packers. That means there's little movement at the top of the Power Rankings this week other than the Falcons dropping from No. 2 to No. 7, and the Chicago Bears vaulting from No. 14 to No. 10 after winning their fifth straight game.

The Indianapolis Colts, winners of nine straight contests, remain at No. 1 this week, with five 7-2 teams (Steelers, Broncos, Bengals, Panthers, Seahawks) sitting just below them. And at the bottom, the Colts' latest victim, the Houston Texans, continues to hold down spot No. 32 as the only team in the league with just one win on the season.

The Texans, however, have been better to their supporters than their straight-up record suggests. Houston is 1-8 SU, but three games better at 4-5 against the spread. That disparity ties them for the league's largest with the Packers (2-7 SU, 5-4 ATS), and Colts (9-0 SU, 6-3 ATS). Others with a disparity greater than one game at this point in the season are the Bengals (7-2 SU, 5-3-1 ATS), Eagles (4-5 SU, 2-7 ATS), Lions (4-5 SU, 6-3 ATS), Panthers (7-2 SU, 5-4 ATS), Buccaneers (6-3 SU, 4-5 ATS), and 49ers (2-7 SU, 4-5 ATS). The Texans are sitting as 6.5-point underdogs at home versus the Kansas City Chiefs this week, the Colts are favored by 5.5 points in Cincinnati, and the Packers sit as 4-point favorites at home Monday night against Minnesota.

5-3-0	10	Giants		Eli Manning was picked off four times in their loss to the Vikings on Sunday; tied with the Cowboys in the NFC East.
6-3-0	11	Jaguars		Pounded the Ravens on Sunday to improve to 6-3; should be in line for another easy win this week versus the Titans.
5-4-0	12	Patriots		Knocked off the Dolphins on Sunday to stay atop the AFC East; that'll likely be their only route to the postseason.
6-3-0	13	Bears		Easy win versus the 49ers on Sunday at a windy Soldier Field; now hold a two-game lead in the NFC North.
6-3-0	14	Buccaneers		Got back into the win column with a controversial two-point conversion at the end of their game versus Washington.
5-4-0	15	Redskins		Clinton Portis ran for 144 yards and a touchdown on Sunday, but they still lost to fall to 5-4 on the season.
5-4-0	16	Chiefs		Held to only a first-quarter field goal in a loss to the Bills in Week 10; should score more this week versus Houston.
4-5-0	17	Eagles		Lost the game on Monday night, and also lost their starting QB Donovan McNabb to injury late in the fourth quarter.

2-7-0	27	Jets		Brooks Bollinger versus the Panthers: 11-of-21 for 98 yards passing and four interceptions. We miss you, Vinny.
2-7-0	28	Cardinals		Kurt Warner threw for a lot of yards in their loss to the Lions, but J.J. Arrington had only 24 total yards rushing.
