                                                        is fourth in the nation 
                                                        in pass defense. There's 
                                                        a bit of "prove it"

                                                        two. Texas Tech's best 
                                                        win this year was in a 
                                                        last-second, controversial 
                                                        touchdown run against 
                                                        Oklahoma, while Alabama 
                                                        lost its final two games 
                                                        of the season. After the 
                                                        Tide lost to Minnesota 
                                                        in last year's Music City 
                                                        Bowl, this is a must-win.

                                                        stepping-stone win over 
                                                        the improving Hawkeyes.

                                                        year when it should be

                                                        blown out teams like these 
                                                        two have; it should be 
                                                        a firefight, even with 
                                                        Virginia Tech's great 
                                                        defense good enough to 
                                                        keep Michael Bush and

                                                        would love an impressive 
                                                        win before going into 
                                                        the Bret Bielema era, 
                                                        while Auburn wants to 
                                                        use a win to launch what 
                                                        should be a huge 2006.
