The Wager On Football Sportsbook Review rankings are based on a performance scoring system where a player gets a bonus for yards and six points for touchdowns. Just because we promote NFL sportsbooks does not mean they are not ranked by who will have the best projected statistics for the week.

Each week, our Wager On Football Fantasy Football experts get together and review all NFL matchups from a Fantasy perspective as the basis for these rankings. We provide you with a listing of the top 20 quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers plus 10 tight ends, and defenses. Several factors are considered, including strength of opponent, recent performances, individual matchups and all the intangibles that encompass an NFL matchup. Such as rivalries, weather, team moral, and playing against a former team. Injuries, experience and the possibility of splitting playing time are also a factor.

In some cases, certain players are must-starts every week and rarely drop below the top spots or are removed unless they are injured. At running back, Priest Holmes and LaDainian Tomlinson will always be ranked near the top, McNabb and Manning as well, and Moss, Harrison and now Holt regardless of matchups.

Beside each player's name, you will see their upcoming opponent as well a number in parentheses. That number means something different for each position. For quarterbacks, it is the total defensive ranking in the NFL of their opponent, based on total yards allowed. For running backs, that number is the rushing defense ranking of their opponent, based on rushing yards allowed per game. Finally, for receivers and tight ends, that number is their opponent's rank based on receiving yards allowed per game.
