CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL BETTING
Championship
Week kicks off Thursday with the MAC title
game at Detroit (Northern Illinois vs. Akron)
and ends close to midnight Saturday at Jacksonville
for the inaugural ACC title game (Florida
State vs. Virginia Tech).
In between on Saturday come
the first C-USA title game at Orlando (Tulsa
at UCF), the Big 12 championship at Houston
(Colorado vs. Texas), USC vs. UCLA out West
and the SEC championship at Atlanta (Georgia
vs. LSU).
Top-ranked USC (11-0) already
has locked up the Pac-10's Bowl Championship
Series bid but can be forced out of the BCS
title game if it loses to the Bruins (9-1).

Saturday," so it must be time for
the 75th game of the famous crosstown
rivalry between top-ranked, 2-time defending
national champion USC and No. 11 UCLA.
USC (11-0, 7-0 Pac-10) enters the game
having won 33 consecutive games, 26 in
a row at the Coliseum, and its last six
against UCLA. The 11th-ranked Bruins (9-1,
6-1) haven't played since beating Arizona
State 45-35 on Nov. 12. The Trojans' had
last weekend off after beating No. 23
Fresno State 50-42 on Nov. 19.
