interception and two sacks, the last of which was a safety, to lead the Ravens to a 28-6 winover the Oakland Raiders at M&T Bank Stadium. The defense forced five fumbles -- three of which it recovered -- and three interceptions as the Raiders couldn't generate any offense. Terrell Suggs made six tackles, two sacks, forced a fumble and recovered another while Ray Lewis made six stops and picked off a pass. Steve McNair completed 16-of-33 passes for 143 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Matt Stover kicked four field goals in the contest. Jamal Lewis rushed for 70 yards on 19 attempts while Derrick Mason hauled in five passes for 46 yards for the Ravens (2-0), who gained 264 yards compared to the 164 for the Raiders. Andrew Walter replaced Aaron Brooks, who left the game in the first quarter with a right shoulder injury, and went 10-of-27 for 162 yards and three interceptions. LaMont Jordan had 19 carries for 35 yards and Alvis Whitted made three catches for 45 yards for the Raiders (0-2), who play Cleveland after a bye week.

Final Score: Cincinnati 34, Cleveland 17

Cincinnati, OH (MySportsbook) - Rudi Johnson wore down the Browns defense with two fourth-quarter touchdowns to go along with 145 yards rushing, as Cincinnati routed Cleveland in a battle of Ohio, 34-17, at Paul Brown Stadium. Carson Palmer threw for 352 yards and two touchdowns, while the opportunistic Bengals defense picked off Charlie Frye twice in the victory. Cincinnati (2-0) will now head to Pittsburgh to face the defending Super Bowl-champion Steelers. Pittsburgh knocked Cincinnati out of the playoffs last season and ended Palmer's season on a low hit by defensive lineman Kimo von Oelhoffen that resulted in the quarterback tearing his ACL. Reuben Droughns ran for only 32 yards and scored a touchdown that brought the Browns within 20-10 early in the fourth quarter. Frye was 20-of-33 for 244 yards with a rushing touchdown late in the fourth quarter for Cleveland (0-2), which will look for its first victory of the season at home against division rival Baltimore next Sunday.

Final Score: Indianapolis 43, Houston 24

Indianapolis, IN (MySportsbook) - Peyton Manning completed 26-of-38 passes for 400 yards and three touchdowns to lead Indianapolis past Houston, 43-24, in the Colts' home opener. The victory helped Indianapolis (2-0) remain a perfect 9-0 against Houston in the all-time series. Manning, who completed passes to nine different receivers, broke Johnny Unitas' franchise record of 2,796 career completions after a touchdown pass to Joseph Addai in the first quarter. Unitas set the previous mark in 206 games while it took Manning just 130 games to set the new record. Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison also made history, surpassing Art Monk for fifth place on the NFL's receptions list, after catching seven passes for 127 yards. David Carr was 22-of-26 for 219 yards and threw for three touchdowns for the Texans (0-2), who have opened the season with two straight losses for the third consecutive season. Carr also fumbled three times, losing one, and was sacked four times by Indy's defense. Andre Johnson caught four passes for 56 yards and a touchdown in the lopsided loss for Houston.

Final Score: Atlanta 14, Tampa Bay 3

Atlanta, GA (MySportsbook) - Michael Vick ran for 127 yards with a touchdown and also threw for a score, as Atlanta started its season with a second consecutive victory over an NFC South foe, beating Tampa Bay 14-3. Warrick Dunn rushed 21 times for 134 yards and Jerious Norwood ran for 45 yards for the Falcons (2-0), who dominated Carolina last week in a 20-6 victory. Vick, Dunn and Norwood combined for 306 rushing yards, setting a new franchise record. Tampa quarterback Chris Simms completed 28-of-53 passes for 313 yards with three interceptions for the Buccaneers (0-2), who have yet to score a touchdown this season. Carnell Williams was limited to 37 yards on 15 carries, while Joey Galloway caught nine passes for 161 yards.

Final Score: Chicago 34, Detroit 7

Chicago, IL (MySportsbook) - Rex Grossman threw for 289 yards and a career- high four touchdowns, leading the Chicago Bears to a dominating 34-7 victory over the Detroit Lions at Soldier Field. Grossman completed 20-of-27 passes and Bernard Berrian had five receptions for 89 yards and a score for the Bears (2-0), who shut out the Green Bay Packers, 26-0, in their season opener. Thomas Jones added 64 yards on the ground and tight end Desmond Clark had 85 yards receiving and a touchdown. Jon Kitna went 23-of-30 passing for 230 yards and scored the lone touchdown for the Lions (0-2), who have been held to just 13 points in their first two games. Roy Williams had 71 yards receiving on six catches.

Final Score: New Orleans 34, Green Bay 27

Green Bay, WI (MySportsbook) - Drew Brees overcame a pair of fumbles on his first two drives to throw for 353 yards and two touchdowns, as New Orleans rallied from an early deficit to notch a 34-27 victory over Green Bay at Lambeau Field. Brees completed 26-of-41 passes with one interception for the Saints (2-0), who bounced back from an early 13-0 hole and have won consecutive road games to start a season for the first time in their 40-year history. Deuce McAllister rushed for 47 yards on 12 carries with a pair of touchdowns for New Orleans, which will return to the Superdome for the first time since the 2004 season next Monday against Atlanta. The Saints were forced to play last season away from their usual home following the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Joe Horn caught five balls for 88 yards and Reggie Bush caught eight passes for 68 yards in the victory. Brett Favre completed 31-of-55 passes for 340 yards with three touchdowns and one interception for the Packers (0-2), who lost their second straight to open the campaign. Ahman Green rushed for 42 yards on 16 carries, while Donald Driver caught eight passes for 153 yards. Greg Jennings added six receptions for 67 yards and a score.

Final Score: Buffalo 16, Miami 6

Miami, FL (MySportsbook) - Rian Lindell kicked three field goals and the Buffalo defense nearly posted a shutout, as the Bills captured a 16-6 victory over the Miami Dolphins. J.P. Losman followed a long pass interference penalty with a scoring toss to Josh Reed for the lone Buffalo touchdown and Willis McGahee ran for 91 yards, as the Bills (1-1) bounced back from a 19-17 loss at New England last week. Daunte Culpepper threw for 250 yards and a late fourth-quarter touchdown in his home debut for the Dolphins (0-2), but he also tossed one costly interception and was sacked seven times. Ronnie Brown ran for 70 yards and caught a team-high six passes for 52 yards in defeat. Miami's defense played well, yielding just 171 yards, but a bad penalty led to Buffalo's only touchdown as the Bills scored on their first three possessions of the second half to extend a three-point edge to 16-0.

Final Score: Minnesota 16, Carolina 13 (OT)

Minneapolis, MN (MySportsbook) - Ryan Longwell's 19-yard field goal 7:35 into overtime lifted the Minnesota Vikings to a 16-13 victory over the Carolina Panthers at the Metrodome. Brad Johnson completed 19-of-31 passes for 243 yards with an interception for the Vikings, who are 2-0 for the first time since 2003 when they won their first six games of the season. Chester Taylor carried 24 times for 113 yards for the Vikings, who trailed 13-6 in the fourth quarter but used a special teams miscue by Carolina to rally and force overtime. Troy Williamson finished with six receptions for 102 yards for Minnesota. Jake Delhomme finished 17-of-33 for 181 yards for the Panthers (0-2), who entered the 2006 season as the NFC favorite to reach the Super Bowl. This marks the first 0-2 start for the Panthers since 1999. DeAngelo Williams gained 74 yards on 13 carries with a touchdown, while Keyshawn Johnson hauled in five passes for 106 yards in the losing effort. The Panthers were once again without the services of wide receiver Steve Smith, who has now missed the first two games of the regular season with lingering hamstring injuries. Linebacker Dan Morgan (concussion), who suffered a concussion in the season-opener against the Falcons, and running back Nick Goings also missed the game.

Final Score: NY Giants 30, Philadelphia 24 (OT)

Philadelphia, PA (MySportsbook) - Eli Manning threw a 31-yard touchdown pass to Plaxico Burress in overtime as the New York Giants overcame a 17- point, fourth-quarter deficit to topple the Philadelphia Eagles, 30-24, at Lincoln Financial Field. Manning ended 31-of-43 for 371 yards with three touchdown passes and an interception for New York (1-1), which was coming off a tough 26-21 loss to Indianapolis and now must head west to play the defending NFC champion Seattle Seahawks. Amani Toomer hauled in two of those touchdown tosses and finished with 137 yards on 12 receptions, while Burress racked up six catches for 114 yards. Donovan McNabb went 27-of-45 for 350 yards with a pair of TD passes for the Eagles (1-1), who were swept by the Giants en route to a 6-10 record a year ago. Philadelphia amassed more than 300 yards in the first half alone and thoroughly outplayed its opponent for three quarters, but was unable to finish. L.J. Smith had seven grabs for 111 yards, and Donte Stallworth had five catches for 81 yards with a score.

Final Score: San Francisco 20, St. Louis 13

San Francisco, CA (MySportsbook) - Alex Smith threw for 233 yards and a touchdown, while Frank Gore rushed for 127 yards and a score to lead San Francisco past St. Louis, 20-13. Antonio Bryant caught four passes for 131 yards, including a 72-yard touchdown in the third quarter for the 49ers (1-1), who have won three in a row against St. Louis for the first time since beating the Rams in 17 consecutive games from 1990-98. Marc Bulger completed 19-of-34 passes for 185 yards and a score for the Rams (1-1), who downed the Broncos 18-10 last week. Stephen Jackson rushed 22 times for 103 yards and Isaac Bruce had five catches for 77 yards.

Final Score: Seattle 21, Arizona 10

Seattle, WA (MySportsbook) - Shaun Alexander rushed for 89 yards and scored his first touchdown of the season, as the Seattle Seahawks topped the Arizona Cardinals, 21-10, in NFC West action at Qwest Field. Matt Hasselbeck completed 12-of-27 passes for 221 yards with a TD pass and two interceptions for the Seahawks (2-0), who set a new club record with 11 straight home wins. Darrell Jackson had a big day, catching five passes for 127 yards and a touchdown as Seattle downed Arizona for the fourth straight time. Kurt Warner threw for 231 yards on 24-of-38 passing with a touchdown pass and an interception. He also fumbled four times. Anquan Boldin made six catches for 62 yards for the Cardinals (1-1), who were seeking their first 2-0 start since 1991. Edgerrin James was held to just 64 yards rushing on 18 attempts. He also caught seven passes for 33 yards in defeat.

Final Score: Denver 9, Kansas City 6 (OT)

Denver, CO (MySportsbook) - Jason Elam kicked a 39-yard field goal with 9:50 remaining in overtime to lift the Denver Broncos over the Kansas City Chiefs, 9-6, at Invesco Field. Jake Plummer finished 16-of-30 for 173 yards with no touchdowns and an interception for Denver (1-1), which fell, 18-10, to St. Louis in its opener. Tatum Bell rushed for 69 yards on 16 carries, while Javon Walker caught five passes for 79 yards. Damon Huard ended 17-of-23 for 133 yards in replacement of the injured Trent Green, and Larry Johnson racked up 126 yards on 27 carries for the Chiefs (0-2), who fell, 23-10, to Cincinnati last week. Green suffered a severe concussion during the third quarter of that game, and could be out for a month.

Final Score: New England 24, NY Jets 17

East Rutherford, NJ (MySportsbook) - Tedy Bruschi, playing in his first game of the season, intercepted Chad Pennington with five seconds remaining to thwart a last-minute New York drive, as the Patriots held off the Jets, 24-17. Tom Brady completed 15-of-29 passes for 220 yards with a touchdown and an interception for New England (2-0), which nearly wasted a 24-0 lead before beating the Jets for a seventh straight time. First-year New York head coach Eric Mangini, who spent the last six years serving under Bill Belichick in New England, couldn't get his team's rushing attack on track, as the Jets (1-1) fell a week after winning at Tennessee. New York had just 51 yards on the ground, compared to 147 for New England. The Jets failed to get a first down rushing. Corey Dillon rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown, while rookie Laurence Maroney ran for 65 yards and another score for the Patriots. Chad Pennington threw for 306 yards and two touchdowns against the one interception, completing 22-of-37 passes. Jerricho Cotchery caught six passes for 121 yards and a score, while Laveranues Coles had six receptions for 100 yards and a touchdown in a losing effort. Mangini spent a total of 10 years learning at Belichick's feet with the Browns, Jets, and Patriots. He was New England's defensive coordinator last year, but the pupil couldn't solve the master despite a valiant second-half effort.

Final Score: San Diego 40, Tennessee 7

San Diego, CA (MySportsbook) - LaDainian Tomlinson rushed for 71 yards and two touchdowns, and Nate Kaeding connected on four field goals as San Diego routed Tennessee, 40-7, at Qualcomm Stadium. Tomlinson's two scores gave him 83 TDs for his career and tied him with Lance Alworth for the franchise record. Philip Rivers completed 25-of-35 passes for 235 yards and a touchdown for the Chargers (2-0), who have outscored their opponents 60-7 this season and beat Tennessee for the fourth consecutive time. Michael Turner added 138 yards on 13 rushes for San Diego while Keenan McCardell had five receptions for 58 yards. Kerry Collins was woeful in his second game with the Titans (0-2). The strong-armed quarterback completed just 6-of-19 passes for 57 yards and two interceptions. Vince Young, the Titans' first- round draft choice, also played but wasn't much better. The former Texas star did throw his first touchdown pass of his NFL career, however, to spoil the shutout. Young connected on 7-of-19 passes for 106 yards and the TD. He also ran for 24 yards on five carries. Drew Bennett caught three balls for 45 yards and a touchdown for Tennessee.

Final Score: Dallas 27, Washington 10

Irving, TX (MySportsbook) - Drew Bledsoe threw for 237 yards and two touchdowns, as Dallas beat Washington 27-10, but lost wide receiver Terrell Owens due to a broken right ring finger. Owens, who made his formal Cowboys home debut, caught three passes for 19 yards before leaving the game. He was X-rayed during the game and is expected to have surgery Monday and be out from 2-to-4 weeks. Bledsoe completed 19-of-38 passes and Terry Glenn caught six balls for 94 yards and a score for Dallas (1-1), which used a back- breaking 99-yard drive for a touchdown in the second half and beat the Redskins for the 15th time in the last 18 meetings. Julius Jones rushed 20 times for 94 yards for the Cowboys, who sacked Mark Brunell six times. Brunell completed 18-of-33 passes for 197 yards and was picked off once for the Redskins (0-2), who were coming off Monday night's 19-16 home loss to Minnesota. Washington had 11 penalties totaling 117 yards. Rock Cartwright returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown for Washington, which played without injured running back Clinton Portis (shoulder).
