--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For those of you that have heard so much about online
gambling, but have been hesitant to actually give it a
shot, I've compiled a short guide to help you address
some of your fears and concerns.
Which online casino should I choose to play at?
Tom B. St. Louis MO
The Internet is now full of online casinos, with each
one claiming better odds and greater software --which
is why we’re here. Wager On Football has created
a list of recommended casinos
and sportsbooks that we guarantee will be honest,
reputable, and have had no complaints from any of our
visitors.
I’ve found an online casino. Now how do
I play? Liz G. Detroit MI
Most casinos require that you download their software
(similar to downloading, say, a video game) in order to
begin gambling on their site. There is no reason to be
concerned, the download and software are 100% safe, and
is no different from any other download. Follow the instructions
specified and download the software to an area on your
computer that will be easy to locate...we recommend your
"Desktop."
The really good online Casinos also offer Non-Downloadable
games often referred to as "Java Games," named
in reference to the technology they are based on...not
coffee. This is convenient for when you are away from
your home computer. No need to download again, just log
on and log in to get that fix of Blackjack.
Why do I have to register? Kyle Z. Little
Rock AR
Once you’ve downloaded your casino software you’ll
need to register at the casino before you can begin to
play or access any of the casino games. The reason you
need to register is to provide the casino with your contact
information, so that they know who to contact and who
to send your winning checks to. Make sure that the information
you provide is accurate, and once again, you can be assured
that it is 100% safe.
Once your registration is complete, you’ll be provided
with a username and password. Be certain that you write
it down and keep it in a safe place; you will be responsible
for all activity on your account.
I have software, I registered my account, now
what? Tim F. St. John's Antigua
Well, it looks like you’re ready to play. Most
casinos offer just about every game being offered at traditional
land-based casinos. If you already have experience playing,
take a few moments to get acquainted with the casino software
before you begin, and once you’re done, good luck!
I have a credit card but I’m scared to
submit it online, what else can I use?
Peter M. Waco TX
Most online casinos offer various options in funding
your account. If you’re uncomfortable using your
credit card, you can most likely use options such as,
Western Union, bank wire transfers, and Netteller.
Do people ever really win playing at online casinos.....honestly?
John G. Halifax NS
They sure do! As a matter of fact, online casinos have
a higher payout than land-based casinos.
I won! Now how do I get paid? Jack R.
Portland OR
Most casinos have “cash out” or redemption
button for you to click to initiate a check request. Usually
this is the same place where you deposited your funds.
Since most casinos are located outside the US, mail delivery
may take up to a week. However, you do have some options
available to you, including, Fed EX check delivery.
We hope that this has helped answer some of your questions.
Good Luck!!
