- Joey Harrington threw three touchdown passes
to Roy Williams, as Detroit beat Arizona, 29-21,
at Ford Field. Harrington ended 22-of-32 for
231 yards with the three scores while Williams
caught seven passes for 117 yards for the Lions
(4-5), who put an end to a two-game losing streak.
Kevin Jones had 14 rushes for 81 yards for Detroit.
Williams became the first Lions receiver to
catch three TD passes since Herman Moore accomplished
the feat on October 29, 1995. Kurt Warner was
29-of-45 for 359 yards with a touchdown for
the Cardinals (2-7), who have lost three straight
contests. Larry Fitzgerald caught nine passes
for 141 yards with a score in the setback.

Jacksonville, FL (MySportsbook)
- Greg Jones ran for 106 yards and a touchdown
to lead the Jacksonville Jaguars to a 30-3 win
over the Baltimore Ravens at ALLTEL Stadium.
Jones carried the ball 25 times in place of
starting running back Fred Taylor, who missed
the game with a right ankle injury. Byron Leftwich
completed 16 of his 30 attempts for 211 yards
and a touchdown for the Jags (6-3), who have
won two straight and four of their last five
games. Rookie wide receiver Matt Jones finished
with 117 yards and a score on five receptions
in the win -- Jacksonville's first in seven
meetings with the Ravens. Quarterback Kyle Boller
returned to Baltimore's starting lineup Sunday
after being out since Week 1 with a case of
turf toe, but his return produced the same results.
Boller was 19-of-33 for 142 yards and three
interceptions, including a pick returned for
a score, as the Ravens (2-7) suffered their
fourth straight loss.

Final Score: Indianapolis 31, Houston 17
Indianapolis, IN (MySportsbook)
- Peyton Manning threw for 297 yards and three
touchdowns, as the Indianapolis Colts remained
undefeated with a 31-17 victory over the Houston
Texans at the RCA Dome. Edgerrin James added
122 yards with a touchdown on 26 carries for
the Colts (9-0), who are the lone unbeaten team
in the NFL. Marvin Harrison finished with seven
catches for 108 yards and a score in the victory.
David Carr threw for a touchdown and Jonathan
Wells ran for a score, as the Texans (1-8) lost
their second straight and fell to 0-8 all-time
against the Colts. Manning completed 26- of-35
passes and was not intercepted in the victory,
as the Colts became the 11th team since 1970
to start a season with nine straight wins. Only
the 1972 Miami Dolphins went on to complete
a season undefeated.

- J.P. Losman relieved an injured Kelly Holcomb
and threw a pair of touchdown passes, as Buffalo
defeated Kansas City, 14-3, at Ralph Wilson
Stadium. Losman came in early in the second
quarter after Holcomb left with a head injury.
Holcomb, who was sacked by Jared Allen and fumbled
the ball, had his head bounce off the ground
before exiting the game on his own power. The
24-year-old Losman ended 9-of-16 for 137 yards
while Lee Evans was the recipient of both touchdown
passes for the Bills (4-5), who put an end to
a two-game losing streak. Evans had three catches
for 66 yards while Willis McGahee, who briefly
left with a hand injury, rushed for 66 yards
on 20 carries in the win. Trent Green had a
miserable afternoon, going 23-of-40 for 220
yards with three interceptions and a fumble
for the Chiefs (5-4), who failed to follow up
their last-second Week 9 win over Oakland.

Final Score: Minnesota 24, NY Giants 21

- Paul Edinger missed his first two field-goal
attempts, but nailed a 48-yarder with 10 seconds
remaining in the game to lift Minnesota past
the New York Giants, 24-21. Edinger's clutch
field goal gave Minnesota (4-5) its first win
on the road this season. The Vikings were 0-4
outside the Metrodome before Sunday's matchup
at Giants Stadium. Darren Sharper intercepted
three passes and returned one for a 92-yard
touchdown for the Vikings, who won for the second
straight week and ended a three-game slide to
the Giants. Minnesota, which will face Green
Bay next Monday night at Lambeau Field, became
the first team in NFL history to return a kickoff,
a punt and an interception for a touchdown in
the same game. Koren Robinson had an 86-yard
kickoff return for a score, while Mewelde Moore
took a punt back for a 71-yard touchdown. Eli
Manning finished 23-of-48 for 290 yards with
a touchdown and four interceptions in his worst
outing for the Giants (6-3), who had their three-game
winning streak halted despite having 405 total
yards. Tiki Barber did all he could for New
York, racking up 95 yards rushing with a score
and a career-high 111 yards receiving. Amani
Toomer chipped in 61 yards and a touchdown on
six receptions in the loss.

Final Score: New England 23, Miami 16

- Tom Brady threw a pair of touchdown passes
to Ben Watson, the last coming with 2:16 remaining
to give New England the lead, and the Patriots
held off Miami near the goal line in the final
minute to escape Dolphins Stadium with a 23-16
victory. Brady threw for 275 yards for the Patriots
(5-4), who bounced back from Monday's 40-21
loss to Indianapolis and remained in first place
in the AFC East. The Dolphins (3-6), who could
have forged a tie for the top spot with a win,
grabbed a 16-15 lead on a 15- yard touchdown
pass from Gus Frerotte to Chris Chambers with
2:59 remaining, but the Patriots had plenty
of time and Brady needed just two plays to answer.
After the kickoff, Brady hit Tim Dwight for
59 yards on the first play. Dwight took the
ball out of defensive back Reggie Howard's grasp
and raced to the Miami 17. Watson then caught
a touchdown pass on the next play. A two-point
conversion run followed, giving New England
a 23-16 edge. Frerotte completed 25-of-47 passes
for 360 yards with a pair of touchdowns and
one interception in defeat, Miami's second straight
and fifth in six games.

- Nathan Vasher returned a missed field goal
for an NFL record 108-yard touchdown as the
Chicago Bears defeated the San Francisco 49ers,
17-9, at a windy Soldier Field. Adrian Peterson
rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown in place
of injured running back Cedric Benson for the
Bears (6-3), who have won five straight games.
Kyle Orton was 8- of-13 for 67 yards and an
interception in the win. Benson was carted off
the field in the second quarter with a knee
injury. Cody Pickett was awful for the 49ers,
as he was only 1-of-13 for 28 yards and an interception.
Frank Gore rushed for 60 yards and Kevan Barlow
added 58 on the ground for San Francisco (2-7),
which has lost two straight games and hasn't
scored a touchdown in three consecutive contests.

Oakland, CA (MySportsbook)
- Jake Plummer went 16-of-22 for 205 yards with
a touchdown, as Denver defeated arch-rival Oakland,
31-17, at McAfee Stadium. Mike Anderson carried
the ball 17 times for 65 yards with a score
for the Broncos (7-2), who have won two straight
and seven of their last eight games to remain
comfortably in front in the AFC West. Ashley
Lelie hauled in three passes for 76 yards while
Rod Smith had five catches for 50 yards and
a touchdown in the win. Kerry Collins was 26-of-50
for 310 yards with two touchdowns and three
picks for the Raiders (3-6), who have dropped
two straight contests. Randy Moss caught six
passes for 87 yards with a touchdown while LaMont
Jordan had only 48 rushing yards in the setback.

Final Score: Carolina 30, NY Jets 3

- Ken Lucas had two of Carolina's four interceptions
and Will Witherspoon returned one for a touchdown,
as the Panthers dominated the New York Jets,
30-3, at Bank of America Stadium. Stephen Davis
rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown as the Panthers
(7-2) won for the sixth straight time. Cornerback
Chris Gamble also picked off a pass in the victory.
Jake Delhomme was only of 10-of-20 for 119 yards
with a touchdown and two interceptions for the
Panthers. Keary Colbert had two catches for
29 yards and a touchdown. Carolina, which has
scored at least 20 points in each game this
season, gained sole possession of first place
in the NFC South after Atlanta lost to Green
Bay on Sunday. Brooks Bollinger struggled behind
center for the Jets (2-7), throwing four interceptions
in the club's fourth straight loss. He finished
the game 11-of-21 for just 98 yards. Curtis
Martin ran for 75 yards in defeat. The Jets
also lost two fumbles in the game, giving them
six turnovers for the day.

Final Score: Green Bay 33, Atlanta 25

- Rookie Samkon Gado rushed for a career-high
103 yards and scored three touchdowns in his
first NFL start, as Green Bay shocked Atlanta
33-25 at the Georgia Dome. Gado, an undrafted
free agent forced into action due to injuries
to Ahman Green, Najeh Davenport and Tony Fisher,
had two rushing scores on 25 attempts and also
caught a one-yard touchdown pass from Brett
Favre in the first quarter. Favre completed
26-of-39 passes for 252 yards with one touchdown
and an interception for the Packers (2-7), who
put up 14 points off three Falcon fumbles to
stop a three-game losing streak and deliver
a blow to Atlanta's division title hopes. Donald
Driver racked up 114 yards on 10 receptions
while Ryan Longwell booted four field goals
-- two from beyond 50 yards -- in the win. Michael
Vick threw for 209 yards and a pair of scores
on 20-of-30 passing for the Falcons (6-3), who
had a three-game win streak broken and fell
one game behind Carolina atop the NFC South
standings. Vick also ran for a touchdown. Warrick
Dunn ran for 76 yards on 17 carries and added
six catches for 52 yards, including a 21-yard
touchdown, in defeat.

- Shaun Alexander ran for 165 yards and three
touchdowns as the Seattle Seahawks took control
of the NFC West with a 31-16 victory over the
St. Louis Rams at Qwest Field. With a second-quarter
score, Alexander became the first player in
NFL history with 15 touchdowns in five consecutive
seasons. Matt Hasselbeck threw for 243 yards
and a touchdown on 17-of-29 passing for Seattle
(7-2), which has won five straight. D.J. Hackett
caught two balls for 78 yards and touchdown
while Bobby Engram hauled in six passes for
70 yards. Marc Bulger was 28-of-40 for 304 yards
with a touchdown and an interception as the
Rams (4-5) fell three games behind Seattle in
the division race. Steven Jackson racked up
115 total yards and Torry Holt caught four passes
for 45 yards with a touchdown in the loss. Seattle
outgained the Rams 417-353 overall and 174-75
on the ground behind Alexander's big day.

Final Score: Tampa Bay 36, Washington 35

Mike Alstott scored two touchdowns and converted
a gutsy two-point conversion with under a minute
left in the game to lift the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
to a 36-35 win over the Washington Redskins
at Raymond James Stadium. Chris Simms was 15-of-27
for 279 yards with three scores and no interceptions
and Joey Galloway caught seven balls for 131
yards and a score for Tampa Bay (6-3), which
snapped a two-game losing streak. Mark Brunell
was 23-of-35 for 226 yards with two touchdowns
and two interceptions and Clinton Portis ran
for 144 yards with a score for Washington (5-4),
which has lost two of its last three games.

Final Score: Pittsburgh 34, Cleveland 21
Pittsburgh, PA (MySportsbook)
- Hines Ward caught eight balls for 124 yards
and a touchdown in a record-setting night, as
the Pittsburgh Steelers pounded the Cleveland
Browns 34-21 at Heinz Field. Ward became the
Steelers' all- time leader in receptions, surpassing
John Stallworth's mark of 538 catches with a
15-yard grab in the second quarter. Charlie
Batch broke his right hand in Pittsburgh's final
series of the first half and did not return.
He finished 13-of-19 for 150 yards with a rushing
touchdown and no interceptions. Tommy Maddux
replaced Batch and went 4-of-7 for 22 yards.
The biggest Steelers throw, however, came from
Antwaan Randle El, who connected with Ward for
a 51-yard TD on a wide-receiver reverse pass
early in the third quarter to put Pittsburgh
up 24-7. Verron Hayes and Jerome Bettis each
added rushing touchdowns for the Steelers (7-2),
who have won four straight and are now tied
for first with Cincinnati in the AFC North.
Trent Dilfer finished 17-of-34 for 253 yards
with a TD and an interception for Cleveland
(3-6), which has dropped four out of five. Reuben
Droughns rushed 17 times for 56 yards and a
score, and Antonio Bryant had five receptions
for 82 yards and a TD.
