released odds today on whether Terrell Owens will
report to training camp prior to the first week
of the NFL season.
“The Philadelphia Eagles’ star wide
receiver’s departure from training camp
has raised a lot questions for Eagles fans,”
says Calvin Ayre, Founder and CEO of Bodog.com.
Ayre was referring to Owens’ dismissal
from training camp, a result of an argument he
had with head coach Andy Reid.
“Will Owens be allowed back to camp before
the season starts? Will his team even accept him
if he comes back? Lots of questions remain unanswered;
one thing is certain, we’re all fixed on
T.O.’s next move,” says Ayre.
Owens arrived at training camp last week despite
being unhappy with Eagles management over their
refusal to renegotiate his seven-year, $48.97-million
contract. Since arriving to camp, the star player,
a key member of the Eagles’ offensive arsenal,
reportedly has kept to himself.
The argument with Reid is said to have stemmed
from a team discussion about “ player obligations”,
such as autograph sessions for fans.
Last season, Owens had 77 receptions for 1,200
yards and a franchise-record 14 touchdown catches.
Despite severely injuring his ankle late in the
season, Owens returned for the Super Bowl and
caught nine passes for 122 yards in Philadelphia’s
loss to the New England Patriots.

the season-opener at Atlanta on Sept. 12? Bodog’s
