The following is the list of
current odds for the Super Bowl and the AFC
conference championship. There will be a preview
of the NFC teams tomorrow. Check back with VIPsports
Edge every day for continuing coverage of the
NFL Playoffs.
Bet
Now: Jacksonville Jaguars SUPER BOWL ODDS 100:1
Jacksonville is also 30:1 to
win the AFC championship. The Jaguars have the
3rd best record in the AFC at 12-4, but were
stuck with the 5th seed because they play in
the same division as Indianapolis. Jacksonville
has to play at New England on Saturday night,
a tough task for a warm weather team. Still,
those odds are high for a team that won 75%
of their games.
Bet
Now: Cincinnati Bengals SUPER BOWL ODDS 30:1
Cincinnati is also 16:1 to win
the AFC championship. The Bengals were 11-3
two weeks ago, but lost their last two games
of the season, although the Kansas City game
was meaningless. Cincinnati really hasn’t
played a great game since beating Pittsburgh
on 12/4. Ironically, the Steelers are their
first round opponent, with Cincinnati getting
three points at home.
Bet
Now: Pittsburgh Steelers SUPER BOWL ODDS 18:1
Pittsburgh is also 13:1 to win
the AFC championship. Pittsburgh is 11-5 but
is on a four game winning streak. The Steelers
ended up needing every one of those wins, as
one loss would have eliminated them. If Pittsburgh
beats Cincinnati this week, they will travel
to Indianapolis and try to make up for a 26-7
beating they took back in November.
Bet
Now: Denver Broncos SUPER BOWL ODDS 8:1
Denver is also 5:1 to win the
AFC championship. With the Patriots at 13:2
to win the Super Bowl, the Broncos are not getting
a lot of respect here. Especially considering
that they own the number two seed and a first
round bye. Quarterback, Jake Plummer has had
a great year with only seven interceptions,
and Denver is undefeated at home, 8-0.
Bet
Now: New England SUPER BOWL ODDS 13:2
New England is also 9:2 to win
the AFC championship. New England is the two
time defending champion which is why the odds
are so low. The Patriots will need to beat Jacksonville
at home, and likely have to beat both Denver
and Indianapolis on the road just to get to
the Super Bowl. New England is peaking at the
right time, but that it a heavy task for any
team.
Bet
Now: Indianapolis Colts SUPER BOWL ODDS 5:6
Indianapolis is also 1:2 to win
the AFC championship. The Colts started off
the season at 13-0, before losing their quest
for perfection in a home game against San Diego,
26-18. The Colts rested their starters most
of the last two contests, which means it will
have been four weeks since they last played
a meaningful game.
One team we know that Indianapolis
does not want to face is New England. The Patriots
eliminated the Colts from the playoffs the last
two years, and there is a good chance that the
Pats will be their first playoff opponent.
