College (-4) vs. Michigan State
Boston College
has a seven-game bowl winning streak. Michigan
State’s strength is running
the ball, averaging 45 carries and 200 yards
per game.

- Texas Bowl – TCU (-4)
vs. Houston
Head Coach Gary Patterson is 18-9 ATS versus
winning teams while with TCU. Houston is just
2-5 ATS in their last seven postseason contests.

- Emerald Bowl – Maryland
(+5) vs. Oregon State
Oregon State won six of its last seven games,
both straight up and ATS. Maryland was 2-4 straight
up and ATS in its last six games.

- Meineke Bowl – Connecticut
(+3) vs. Wake Forest
Connecticut Head Coach Randy Edsall is 21-8
ATS on the road versus non-conference foes. Wake
Forest had never been favored in a bowl game
before this season.

- Liberty Bowl – Central
Florida (-3) vs. Mississippi State
Mississippi State football embraces their first
bowl bid in seven seasons. Central Florida is
10-3 straight up and 8-5 ATS this season and
has a seven-game winning streak.

- Alamo Bowl – Penn State
(-6) vs. Texas A&M
Texas A&M
is just 1-6 straight up and 3-4 ATS in its
last seven bowl games. Penn State is 7-3 straight
up and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 postseason
contests.

- Independence Bowl – Alabama
(-4) vs. Colorado
Colorado was 2-4 straight up and ATS versus
bowl teams this year. Alabama was 1-8-1 ATS in
their final 10 games of this season.

- Armed Forces Bowl – California
(-4) vs. Air Force
California is ice cold having lost six of seven
games straight up and ATS since reaching the
#2 ranking earlier this season. Air Force is
red-hot, going 6-1 straight up and 7-0 ATS in
its final seven games.

- Sun Bowl – South Florida
(-7) vs. Oregon
Underdogs are on an incredible run of 10-1
ATS in the last 12 Sun Bowls, and the Pac-10
is 7-3-1 ATS in the last 11.

- Humanitarian Bowl – Georgia
Tech (-4) vs. Fresno State
Georgia Tech is 7-5 straight up and 4-6 ATS
this season. Fresno State is 8-4 overall and
6-5 ATS. Fresno State is also 4-2 straight up
and 5-1 ATS recently as a bowl game underdog.

- Music City Bowl – Kentucky
(-1) vs. Florida State
Both teams share identical 7-5 records. Against
winning teams though, Florida State was just
1-4 straight up and ATS, while Kentucky was 3-4
straight up and ATS.

- Insight Bowl – Indiana
(+4) vs. Oklahoma State
Indiana is playing in its first postseason
game in 14 years. Oklahoma State was 2-5 straight
up and 3-4 ATS versus other bowl teams this year.

- Chick-fil-A Bowl – Clemson
(-2) vs. Auburn
Clemson finished 9-3 this year and Auburn at
8-4, but both teams were 6-5 ATS. This is the
first head-to-head matchup since this same bowl
game in January, 1998.

Outback Bowl – Tennessee
(-4) vs. Wisconsin
Wisconsin will
be playing an SEC team in a bowl game for the
fifth straight year. Both teams won nine games
this season but Tennessee was 7-4 ATS to Wisconsin’s
4-7.

Cotton Bowl – Missouri
(-3) vs. Arkansas
Against teams other than Oklahoma, Missouri
was 11-0 straight up and 9-3 ATS, scoring 40
points per game. Arkansas, and Darren McFadden,
ran for an incredible 297 yards per game.

Gator Bowl – Texas Tech
(-6) vs. Virginia
Texas Tech enjoyed a typical season in 2007,
going 8-4 straight up and 6-5 ATS. Virginia (9-3)
posted its best regular season record 1998.

Capital One Bowl – Michigan
(+10) vs. Florida
Florida was one
of the best teams in November, sweeping four
games straight up and ATS while scoring 51
points per game. This is the last game for
Michigan’s Lloyd Carr.

Rose Bowl – Illinois (+14)
vs. USC
USC is 4-1 straight
up and AT S in their last five bowl games,
all BCS. This is Illinois’ first
Rose Bowl since the 1983 season. They haven’t
played in any bowl game since the 2001 season.

Sugar Bowl – Hawaii (+9)
vs. Georgia
Hawaii was the
nation’s only unbeaten
regular season team in 2007. Georgia won their
last six games of the season, with the final
five coming by double digits.

Fiesta Bowl – West Virginia
(+7) vs. Oklahoma
The Fiesta Bowl has an amazing trend in which
the team with the better record has won 10 games
in a row, both straight up and ATS.

Orange Bowl – Kansas (+3)
vs. Virginia Tech
Virginia Tech
is 11-2 straight up and 7-5 ATS on their way
to winning the ACC title. Kansas (11-1) produced
their best record since 1899 and has the country’s
best ATS record at 10-1.

International Bowl – Ball
State (+10) vs. Rutgers
Rutgers is a big favorite despite only outscoring
their opponents by 9.4 points per game this year.
Ball State is making their first bowl appearance
in 11 seasons.

GMAC Bowl – Tulsa (-5)
vs. Bowling Green
Bowling Green finished the season at 8-4, winning
their last four straight up and ATS. Tulsa finished
9-4 straight up, but just 4-9 ATS after yielding
35.4 points per game.

BCS Championship – LSU
(-5) vs. Ohio State
Ohio State is playing for the national title
for the second year in a row, and the third time
in six seasons. LSU is trying to become the first
team with two losses to ever win a BCS Championship.
