NCAAF Betting: LSU (- 7) vs.
Alabama (+7)

LSU brings their top-notch defense to Alabama
to face former LSU coach Nick Saban and the Crimson
Tide.
By all accounts
this is going to be a very emotional game for
Nick Saban. After all, the guy practically “cried” his
way out of Miami where he turned the Dolphins
into one of the worst teams in the NFL and to ‘Bama
where he has turned an okay SEC team into one
of the bigger college football surprises of the
year.
I guess Nick Saban
has a way with kids. But, you want to know
something? Les Miles, LSU’s
coach, has a way with men!
In particular,
he has a way with a man named Glenn Dorsey
and another named Early Doucette. Of course,
another man, Ryan Perilloux, is suspended for
this game because - - well, Miles didn’t
say.
No matter, the
Tigers squash the Crimson Tide in this one.
Here’s a trend that supports
that fact - - yes, it’s all ready a fact
The Road team, LSU, is 9-1-1 against the spread
in the last 11 meetings between these two teams.
LSU gets to go
to Alabama and man-handle their former coach’s team on his own field. You
can’t tell me that Dorsey and Doucette
and the other studs on LSU’s team haven’t
been waiting for this chance, right?
LSU still has one
of the best defenses in the nation even though
they haven’t been playing
as well in SEC play. LSU also has more heart
than any other team in college football. Les
Miles is willing to take chances and LSU plays
with emotion better than anybody else in the
SEC.
Nick Saban will
coach with emotion but that’s
different than having a team full of tough-guys
playing pissed off because you left them in the
lurch for the pros.
I fully expect
a few LSU players to “accidentally” run
into their former coach.
