have won their opening two games mostly because
of an offense that has scored 56 points in its
opening two games and a surprising defense that
has allowed only 38 points combined over the
same span.
The Philadelphia Eagles (0-2 SU, 0-2 ATS, 0-2
O/U) are 0-2 for several reasons, including poor
personnel decisions, sloppy special teams play
and ineffective play from quarterback Donovan
McNabb.

you like about either team here, the fact of
the matter is that the Philadelphia Eagles
appear to be in genuine trouble all of a sudden
while the Detroit Lions are operating like
a well-oiled machine in offensive coordinator
Mike Martz’s high-powered offense (the
same one that carried the St. Louis Rams to stardom
and a championship title less than a decade ago).
I like the Lions to cover the spread here with
an outside chance of actually winning outright.
