Comments & Notes Coming Soon... |
1. |
Indianapolis
Colts |
The Colts rolled up the Texans
in week 3 and stay on top of this week's power rankings. They're
the Champs, so, when they lose, they'll get bumped. |
2. |
New
England Patriots |
Tom Brady threw for 291 yards with four touchdown
passes Sunday, as the New England Patriots defeated the Buffalo Bills
38-7. They're now 3-0 as well and look like serious contendors. |
3. |
Pittsburgh
Steelers |
Willie Parker rushed for
133 yards on 24 carries Sunday, as the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated
the San Francisco 49ers 37-16. The Steelers D held Alex Smith to
just 209 yards passing, and kept Gore to under 40 yards rushing.
WOW. |
4. |
Dallas
Cowboys |
The top team in the NFC defeated last years
NFC Super Bowl representative in Chicago. They're firing on all cylinders
and Romo looks like he's going back to the Pro Bowl. |
5. |
Baltimore
Ravens |
They held on for a close
victory over the Cards at home in Week 3. Steve McNair completed
20-of-27 passes for 198 yards with a touchdown. |
6. |
Green
Bay Packers |
Brett Favre is now tied with Marino for most
TD passes ever in the NFL, and should brake that record next week.
In Week 3 he threw for 369 yards with three touchdowns
to lead the Packers past the Chargers 31-24. |
7. |
Seattle
Seahawks |
Nate Burleson redeemed himself
from two earlier dropped passes to catch the game winning TD vs the
Bengals on Sunday. Matt Hasselbeck threw for 248 yards with three
touchdowns and two interceptions. |
8. |
Carolina
Panthers |
The true Jeckyll and Hyde team of the NFL.
Now you see them, now you don't. DeShaun Foster rushed for 122 yards
and a touchdown on 20 carries and also caught a touchdown pass Sunday,
as the Panthers defeated the Falcons 27-20. |
9. |
Jacksonville
Jaguars |
David Gerrard looks like
he's the right man for the job in Jacksonville. This team will surprise
people this year. Fred Taylor rushed for 79 yards on 14 carries
for Jacksonville and Reggie Williams had a touchdown reception. |
10. |
San
Francisco 49ers |
Coming off a tough loss vs. the Steelers where
the Niners let Willie Parker rush for 133 yards on 24 carries
Sunday, and now .they host the Seahawks for the bragging rights in
the NFC west this week. |
11. |
San
Diego Chargers |
LT
was speechless at his post game press conference on Sunday. These
losses are really wearing him out. The Chargers allowed Favre to
throw for 369 yards with three touchdowns and now host the Chiefs
in an AFC west matchup in week 4. |
12. |
Tennessee
Titans |
Vince Young's first spotlight on Monday night
football was a success, as the Titans rolled the Saints at the Superdome.
It appers this team is over the fiasco of Pac-man Jones. |
13. |
Washington
Redskins |
How
did Washington lose that game to the Giants at home on Sunday?
Three chances to punch it in from inside the 5 yard line and your
STAR player - Clinton Portis watches from the sidelines? Pull your
head out of your &%$ Gibbs!! |
14. |
Chicago
Bears |
Is Brian Griese the savior? I highly doubt
it, but he'll make a good bandaid. The Bears are in a downward spiral.
Injuries are mounting up on the D as well. It was announced today
that Vasher is now out for a month as well....ouch! |
15. |
Tampa
Bay Bucs |
They smacked a reeling Lams
team in the mouth on Sunday, and Kiffen finally has that D looking
great again. Earnest Graham rushed for 75 yards and a pair of
touchdowns on eight carries. Jeff Garcia completed 14-of-22 passes
for 151 yards |
16. |
Houston
Texans |
The Texans started fast against the Colts running
back the opening kickoff for a TD, but it was all downhill from there.
It could worse this week if Ahmen Green and Ron Dayne are still out.
That would equal Samkon Gado being the starting RB. Ouch. |
17. |
Detroit
Lions |
10 wins eh Jon? Keep
playing like you guys did on Sunday you'll have 10 losses in the
next 10 games. Jon Kitna completed 29-of-46 passes for 446 yards
with two touchdowns and Roy Williams
caught nine passes for 204 yards and a touchdown in the loss. |
18. |
Denver
Broncos |
Last week Denver quarterback
Jay Cutler completed 16-of-23 passes for 222 yards with a touchdown
and an interception, while Travis Henry rushed for 35 yards and a
touchdown on 11 carries in a loss to the Jags. |
19. |
Cincinnati
Bengals |
The anticipated shootout
in Seattle didn't quite materialize, but TJ and Chad got their fantasy
owners some points in a loss to the Seahawks. The Bengals are playing
way below their potential. |
20. |
Philadelphia
Eagles |
The Eagles crushed the Lions in Week 3 as Donovan
McNabb threw for 381 yards with four touchdown passes Sunday, to
lead the Philadelphia Eagles to a 56-21 rout of the Detroit Lions. |
21. |
New
York Jets |
Chad Pennington threw for
124 yards with two touchdown passes, while also rushing in for a
score Sunday, to lead the New York Jets past the Miami Dolphins 31-28. |
22. |
Arizona
Cardinals |
Kurt Warner and Matt Leinart traded blows with
the Ravens defense in Baltimore but a late charge wasn't enough to
upend the Ravens at home. Anquan Boldin caught 14 passes for 181
yards and two touchdowns. |
23. |
New
York Giants |
The
comeback victory of the year so far by the Giants on Sunday over
the Redskins. Reuben Droughns had a pair of rushing touchdowns
Sunday, Eli Manning completed 21-of-36 passes for 232 yards
with a touchdown |
24. |
Oakland
Raiders |
The younger Kiffen pulled a Shanahan on the
Browns on Sunday as the Raiders got their first win of the year.
LaMont Jordan rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown on 28 carries,
Ronald Curry caught two passes for 53 yards and a touchdown. |
25. |
Minnesota
Vikings |
Adrian
Peterson is looking more and more like TD every game, but his great
effort at Arrowhead on Sunday wasn't enough. Kelly Holcomb
completed 14-of-28 passes for 165 yards with no touchdowns, guess
what...they needed TD's. |
26. |
New
Orleans Saints |
0-3 usually means you will not make the playoffs.
Losing your starting running back is usually a kick in the ass. The
Saints have both. This doesn't look good, but if you have Reggie
Bush on your fantasy team you're smiling. |
27. |
Cleveland
Browns |
A tough loss to the Raiders
in week 3, but on a positive note the Browns passing game looks good.
The defense has allowed 105 points in three weeks, which
is simply not going to get it done. |
28. |
Kansas
City Chiefs |
The most boring team in the NFL squeaked out
a win on Sunday at home to go to 1-2. If you watched this game or
part of it like I did you know that Herm Edwards is the most boring
coach in the NFL. |
29. |
Buffalo
Bills |
What a cheap shot by the
Pats on Losman on Sunday eh? Taking the Bills QB out early in the
first qtr, and then rolling to an easy win. On a positive note Marshawn
Lynch looks like the real deal. The Bills have to find a way to plus
the leak in their defense. |
30. |
St.
Louis Rams |
Will the real St. Louis Rams please stand up?
Marc Bulger completed 17-of-26 passes for 116 yards with three interceptions
while Steven Jackson rushed for 115 yards on 30 carries. They get
Dallas in Week 4 and will be 0-4. |
31. |
Miami
Dolphins |
The Dolphins lost 31-28 to
the Jets on Sunday and now take on Oakland in Week 4. Miami has got
to get a W or there's going to be rumors flying everywhere that this
team will be drafting #1 next year. Nick Saban where are you?? |
32. |
Atlanta
Falcons |
Did
you hear that the Falcons are 0-3 and the worst team in the NFL?
Or did you hear that Mike Vick was busted smoking some of the whacky
tabacky? Does it even matter? Falcons dead last - get used to it. |
