Player |
Details |
Derek
Anderson |
Anderson,
who has played in five of the Browns'
six games, is ranking statistically
as one of the top QBs in the NFL. |
Jeff
Garcia |
Yes,
the Lions are 30th against the pass,
and yes, Garcia is fifth in the NFL
in yards per pass. However, the Bucs
are on the road |
David
Garrard |
He
might lack the numbers of a superstar,
but consider that Garrard has yet to
be picked off through five games, notching
at least 12 fantasy points in each
of them |
Kevin
Faulk |
He's
a deep sleeper to keep in mind, mainly
because both Laurence Maroney (groin)
and Sammy Morris (chest) are at a bit
less than full health |
Jason
Wright |
Wright
carried 20 times for 59 yards with
a touchdown and added three catches
for 39 yards last week |
Najeh Davenport |
He's not officially
the Steelers' goal-line back, so don't
mark him down as an automatic if you
have better alternatives. |
DeShawn
Wynn |
It
looks like Wynn is getting the goal
line carries for the Packers, but don't
expect much yardage from him. |
Bobby Engram |
With Hackett
set to come back, this is not the time
for Engram to slide |
Patrick
Crayton |
Watch
Crayton make at least one wacky end
zone dance. |
Donte' Stallworth |
Starting to
get on a roll in the Pats offense now
that he's healthy |
Kevin
Walter |
Consider
that he has 23 catches for 304 yards
the past three weeks combined, stepping
up as QB Matt Schaub's most trusted
target. |
Nate Burleson |
If Burleson
doesn't put up this week, he'll likely
have to shut up for the rest of the
year |
Desmond
Clark |
With
Olsen now firmly in the mix, it hasn't
affected Clark's numbers. Feel free
to start him |
Giants DST |
Alex Smith
likely will return from injury this
week but is not likely to be near 100
percent |
Redskins
DST |
Arizona
is on QB number three, and the Skins
have been one of the league's best
against the run |

Week 7 Fantasy
Football Not So Hot Players |
|
Player |
Details |
Trent
Green |
Officially
on the IR for 2007 |
Kurt
Warner |
Early
reports are that he'll miss this
week because of an elbow injury. |
Matt
Leinart |
With
Leinart done for the season, the
quarterback job safely belongs to
Kurt Warner. |
Michael
Pittman |
While
Pittman has a severe ankle sprain,
MRIs revealed that he does not have
a broken fibula, and he's hopeful
he can return |
Tatum
Bell |
Bell
had asked to be traded, and that
combined with the successful return
of Kevin Jones does not bode well |
Ladell
Betts |
Mike Sellers
is seeing just as much action as
Ladell. The writing is clearly on
the wall. |
Sammy
Morris |
Keep
tabs on his chest injury, if Morris
is good to go, he'll be worth using
again |
Darrell
Jackson |
Perhaps
Darrell Jackson can rebuild some
of the momentum he lost when Trent
Dilfer took over at quarterback. |
Lee
Evans |
The
big quarterback controversy puts
Evans' status completely into question,
and that doesn't even address the
fact that he has played horribly |
Isaac Bruce |
He has been
nursing a bad hamstring but should
be raring to go |
Jeff
King |
King
caught just two passes for 12 yards
in Sunday's 25-10 win at Arizona. |
Marcus
Pollard |
Pollard
(knee) returned to practice Friday
and likely will play Sunday |
Jason
Elam |
It's
probably better to avoid Elam this
week |
Jason Hanson |
Hanson and
home is a comfortable combination. |
Broncos
DST |
Denver's
defense has been a mess, getting
ripped up for 79 points combined
in its past two games |
