Player |
Details |
Matt
Schaub |
Two
hundred yards and a touchdown might
even be a wee conservative. |
Rex
Grossman |
The
Chiefs are not the Chargers, so Rex
should have a little more time to work
with this week. |
J.P.
Losman |
He
hasn't done anything to prove that
he can do significantly better than
150 yards and he occasional TD, but
he'll be playing "for" a teammate this
week, that's some incentive. |
Chris
Brown |
The
AFC Offensive Player of the Week will
most likely come crashing back to earth,
he'll do OK this week though. |
Derrick
Ward |
The
top pick off many waiver wires. You
picked him up, you might as well start
him. Otherwise, why did you bother? |
Travis Henry |
Henry will
continue to carry the Denver workload
... until his knee gives out. |
Antwaan
Rendle El |
As
long as Campbell is comfortable throwing
to him, he's worth starting consideration.
But expect inconsistency. |
Wes Welker |
Welker seemed
to be everywhere last Sunday, and he
seems to have already found a niche
in New England's passing game. |
Patrick
Crayton |
A
great option for a third receiver.
T.O. gets the attention, and Crayton
and Hurd will reap the benefits. |
Ronald Currey |
He did well
in Week 1, but he has a tough matchup
this week. Plus, who will throw to
him? |
Arnaz
Battle |
Try
him as a Flex. |
Shaun McDonald |
Worth a look
for your Flex spot, but don't bench
your starters for him just yet. |
Desmond
Clark |
Get
him while he's hot because his value
will disappear once Greg Olsen returns. |
Eric Johnson |
9 catches,
are you kidding me? Should put up 5
this week. |
Colts
D |
The
Colts came alive against the Saints
in Week 1, and now they get a mediocre
Titans offense |
|
Week 2 Fantasy
Football Not So Hot Players |
|
Player |
Details |
Chad
Pannington |
Pennington
(ankle) was limping noticeably during
the media-viewable portion of practice
Thursday |
Eli
Manning |
It
still appears as though it will be
a game-time decision whether Manning
or Jared Lorenzen will start at QB
this weekend. |
Vernand
Morency |
He'll
see some touches, and it's not out
of question that he reclaims the
starting job |
Mike
Bell |
I
can't even see him on the depth chart. |
Anthony
Thomas |
It's
never a good thing when you enter
Week 2 with negative rushing yardage. |
Eddie Kennison |
Eddie Kennison
has a slight hamstring tear that
will keep him out of the Bears game
and possibly another week or two. |
D.J.
Hackett |
He's
out. Look for either Nate Burleson
or Bobby Engram to slide up into
the starting lineup opposite Deion
Branch. |
Joe Jurevicius |
Consider
him little more than a bye-week replacement
at this stage in his career. |
Jerry
Porter |
We
consider Porter a No. 4 Fantasy WR
for his matchup against the staunch
Denver defense. Look for a better
option this week. |
Reggie
Williams |
The Jaguars
shocked many when they placed Williams
on the inactive list Week 1. It symbolized
how far the former first round pick
has fallen. I |
Daniel
Graham |
Graham
made his Denver debut Sunday, should
see a number of passes go his way,
but he's not going to come close
to being a startable Fantasy tight
end |
L.J.
Smith |
Smith's
groin is still a question, but if
he's ready to go vs. Washington,
he could have a nice game. |
Josh
Scobee |
Scobee
will be replaced by John Carney while
he is sidelined. Scobee should regain
his job upon his return, but can
be let go in Fantasy leagues in the
meantime. |
Dolphins
D |
The Dolphins
DST remains a must-start in all Fantasy
leagues heading into Week 2 against
the Cowboys, although they'll have
their hands full |
Jaguars
D |
They
sucked last week, but are must start
this week, and they shouldn't have
much of an issue containing the Falcons. |
