good as the Raiders “D” is in defending
the pass, they are equally as bad in defending
the run. For the season they give up 134.1 RYPG.
Although the Raiders
have only won a couple games this season, they
were a decent cover earlier in the season. That
of course has changed as they haven’t covered
their last three games. If history dictates, they
could have trouble covering in this game as well
as they haven’t fared well ATS in December
games as of recent. ATS in December, the Raiders
are 0-3 this season, 2-10 the last three seasons,
and 15-33 since 1992. The Chiefs have had some
covering issues of their own. It seems as if they
often play down to their competition as they are
0-5 ATS versus teams with a losing record. As
the early bettors make their plays, it is obvious
that the favored Chiefs (-6.5) are the overwhelming
choice as over 90% are making them the overwhelming
choice.
