The game was decided
early as Chicago held a 24-0 lead by the end of
the first quarter, a new franchise mark for points
scored in the opening frame. The Bears' lead ballooned
to 41-0 by halftime and the first-half outburst
tied a franchise record for points scored in the
first half. The mark was originally set on November
28, 1948 against Washington. Thomas Jones rushed
for 111 yards and a score for the Bears (7-0),
who have won their first seven games to open a
season for the first time since 1985. That club
went on to finish 15-1 en route to winning Super
Bowl XX. Clark ended with six catches for 86 yards
and Muhsin Muhammad added a touchdown catch in
the win. Frank Gore paced the San Francisco offense
with 111 yards rushing and Alex Smith threw for
just 146 yards on 16-of-26 passing for the 49ers

catches for 78 yards and a score.
Final Score: Green Bay
31, Arizona 14
Green
Bay, WI (My

and two touchdowns, as Green Bay defeated Arizona,

added another 101 yards rushing for the Packers
(3-4), who have won two in a row. Green's two
scores gave him 51 rushing TDs as a Packer, surpassing
Hall of Famer Paul Hornung for second on the team's
all-time list. Green also went over 10,000 total
yards in his Packer career in the victory. Brett
Favre threw for 180 yards and a touchdown while
also running for a score as the Packers have now
beaten the Cardinals in five of their last six
meetings. Edgerrin James rushed for 84 yards and
a touchdown for the Cardinals (1-7), who continue
to struggle heading into their bye week having
lost seven in a row since their season-opening

with a touchdown pass to Troy Walters.

yards and his fourth touchdown of the afternoon
gave Kansas City a 35-28 edge over Seattle in
a shootout at Arrowhead Stadium. Johnson became

26 yards on two catches. With the victory the
Chiefs (4-3) are over .500 for the first time
this season and have now won four of their last
five contests. On the flip side, Seattle (4-3)
continues their downward spiral, losers of three
of their last four games after starting the season
with three straight wins. Damon Huard, who was
cleared to start at quarterback prior to the game,
finished 17-of-25 passing for 312 yards and one
touchdown. The contest also marked the first career

139 yards for the Buccaneers, who saw a modest
two-game win streak end.

was the third overall selection in last April's
draft and Houston's 2006 No. 1 draft pick Mario
Williams. Young also ran for a touchdown and finished
with 44 yards on the ground for the Titans (2-5),
who have won two straight. The two consecutive
wins for Tennessee are the first since the 2003
campaign. Pacman Jones had an interception and
returned a punt for a touchdown in the Tennessee
victory. Rookie Wali Lundy rushed for a career-high
116 yards on 18 carries for the Texans, who defeated
the Jacksonville Jaguars last week. Lundy also
had five receptions for 33 yards.

field goal with two seconds remaining as the Indianapolis
Colts edged the Denver Broncos, 34-31, in a shootout

to set up the game-winning field goal for the
Colts, who have raced out to a 7-0 mark for the
second straight season. He finished a sizzling

of which went to Reggie Wayne. Wayne caught 10

Final Score: Oakland
20, Pittsburgh 13
Oakland,
CA (My
Sportsbook) - Oakland's defense capitalized
on four Ben Roethlisberger interceptions, returning
two for touchdowns, as the Raiders held on to
beat the Steelers, 20-13, at McAfee Coliseum.
Oakland (2-5) now has its first winning streak
of the season, one week after downing the Cardinals,
22-9 at home. On the down side, their offense
was particularly dreadful, managing just 98 yards
of total offense in the game. Rookie quarterback
Andrew Walter was 5-of-14 passing for 51 yards
while Justin Fargas carried 18 times for 55 yards
rushing. LaMont Jordan added 21 yards on the ground,
as he battled soreness in his back and did not
see a lot of playing time. The Oakland receivers
pulled down just five passes and certainly weren't
helped by the season debut of Jerry Porter, last
year's leading receiver. He had just one catch
on the day, good for 19 yards. Porter was inactive
the first four games and then suspended for the
last two for fighting with head coach Art Shell.
Pittsburgh (2-5) has now dropped four of five
since its season-opening win over the Dolphins.

fourth-year pro got the nod over inconsistent
and immobile veteran Drew Bledsoe. Romo was solid
if not spectacular against Carolina. He finished
24-of-36 for 270 yards with a touchdown and an
interception for the Cowboys (4-3), who won for
the second time in three games and are one game
behind the Giants for the NFC East lead. Jones

TDs. Terrell Owens caught nine passes for 107
yards and Jason Witten added six receptions for
