passes for 197 yards and a touchdown while throwing
two interceptions and a coughing up the ball on
a crucial drive in the fourth quarter. It was
the second consecutive poor showing for the versatile
Atlanta QB, who also threw two picks with a fumble
in the Falcons' loss to the Lions last Sunday.
Reuben Droughns rushed for 54 yards and a touchdown,
while Kellen Winslow caught five passes for 90
yards for the Browns (3-6), who have won two of
their last three games. Vick also rushed for 74
yards and Roddy White had five catches for 99
yards for the Falcons (5-4), who have lost two
in a row after starting the season 5-2.

- LaDainian Tomlinson ran for 104 yards and four
touchdowns and Philip Rivers threw for 337 yards
and three scores as the San Diego Chargers overcame
a 21-point halftime deficit to defeat the Cincinnati
Bengals, 49-41, at Paul Brown Stadium. Tomlinson
carried the ball 22 times and also had six catches
for 54 yards while Rivers completed 24 of his
36 passes for the Chargers (7-2), who have won
three straight. Malcom Floyd had five receptions
for 109 yards and a touchdown and Donnie Edwards
recorded 13 tackles as San Diego outscored Cincinnati
in the second half, 42-13. Carson Palmer threw
for 440 yards with three touchdowns on 31-of-42
passing and Chad Johnson set a club record with
11 catches for 260 yards and two scores for the
Bengals (4-5), who have dropped three in a row.
Rudi Johnson ran for 85 yards on 18 touches with
a score and T.J. Houshmandzadeh gained 88 yards
on seven catches in the loss.

- Frank Gore rushed for 159 yards and scored a
touchdown, then left the game with a concussion,
as the San Francisco 49ers held on to beat Detroit,
19-13, at Ford Field. Gore, who was held to a
season- low 41 yards on 19 carries in a win against
the Vikings last Sunday, carried 22 times and
also hauled in two passes for 14 yards. He left
early in the fourth quarter and was being evaluated
for symptoms of a concussion. There was no immediate
word on his condition. Alex Smith finished 14-of-20
for 136 yards passing for the 49ers (4-5), who
recorded their second consecutive victory. Arnaz
Battle led the receiving corps with six catches
for 55 yards. Joe Nedney converted all four of
his field goal attempts to account for 12 of San
Francisco's 19 points. Joe Kitna completed 19-of-30
passes for 202 yards, throwing one touchdown and
an interception for the Lions (2-7), who turned
the ball over four times in the contest. Detroit
was coming off a huge 30-17 win over Atlanta last
weekend but the sixth-ranked passing offense in
the NFL managed just one offensive score in the
game.

Indianapolis, IN (MySportsbook) - Peyton Manning threw for 236 yards
and a touchdown as Indianapolis held off Buffalo,
17-16, to become the first team in NFL history
to open consecutive seasons with nine victories.
Rookie Joseph Addai had 78 yards rushing and a
touchdown for the Colts (9-0), who are the only
unbeaten team in the NFL. Dominic Rhodes added
another 72 yards rushing while Reggie Wayne had
four catches for 42 yards and a score. Anthony
Thomas had 109 yard rushing for the Bills (3-6),
who have lost four of their past five games. J.P.
Losman completed just 8-of-12 passes for 83 yards
and Rian Lindell kicked three field goals for
Buffalo.

Jacksonville, FL (MySportsbook) - David Carr completed 16-of-32 passes
for 167 yards and also rushed for 48 yards to
lead the Houston Texans to a 13-10 victory over
the Jacksonville Jaguars at Alltel Stadium. Carr
left the game in the fourth quarter with a bruised
left shoulder and did not return for the Texans,
who beat the Jaguars for the second time this
season. The win was also Houston's first road
victory of the campaign and snapped a 12-game
road losing streak overall. Wali Lundy rushed
for 34 yards and a touchdown for the Texans (3-6),
who won for the first time in their last three
games. Samkon Gado added 67 yards on the ground
and Andre Johnson hauled in three receptions for
56 yards. Jacksonville quarterback David Garrard
struggled, going 15-of-34 for 214 yards with four
interceptions. Garrard did rush for 44 yards on
four attempts. Maurice Jones-Drew scored the only
touchdown of the game for the Jaguars (5-4), who
saw their modest two-game win streak end. Drew
finished with 11 yards on the ground and added
four catches for 56 yards. Fred Taylor ran for
63 yards on 12 attempts in the loss and also caught
five passes for 71 yards.

- Ronnie Brown had 25 carries for 89 yards and
a touchdown to lead the Miami Dolphins to a 13-10
victory over the Kansas City Chiefs at Dolphin
Stadium. Joey Harrington completed 19-of-35 passes
for 201 yards without a touchdown or interception
for the Dolphins (3-6), who have won two straight
games. Chris Chambers hauled in three catches
for 66 yards. Damon Huard was a pedestrian 15-of-38
for 201 yards, also without a score or a pick,
and Tony Gonzalez made six catches for 84 yards
for the Chiefs (5-4), who have lost two in a row
after winning their previous three contests. Larry
Johnson ran the ball 18 times for 75 yards and
a TD.

touchdowns, and Donald Driver had a career-high
191 receiving yards as Green Bay stunned Minnesota,

and scored a touchdown for the Packers (4-5),
who have won three of their past four games. Ahman
Green had 55 yards rushing for Green Bay and Dave
Rayner booted three field goals. Brad Johnson
completed 18-of-27 passes for 257 yards with a
TD and an interception for the struggling Vikings
(4-5), who have lost three consecutive games.
Chester Taylor ran for 75 yards and Billy McMullen
caught three balls for 64 yards and scored both
Minnesota touchdowns in the game.

- Jerricho Cotchery caught the game-winning score
with just under five minutes to play, as the New
York Jets handed the New England Patriots their
first back-to-back losses since 2002 with a 17-14
win at sloppy Gillette Stadium. The Patriots had
played 57 straight games without back-to-back
defeats, three games off the record set by San
Francisco (1995-99). New England came off a 27-20
defeat at the hands of the Indianapolis Colts
last Sunday night. Chad Pennington was 22-of-33
for 168 yards with a touchdown and an interception
while Cotchery caught six passes for 70 yards
for the Jets (5-4), who had loss the last seven
meetings. Kevan Barlow carried the ball 17 times
for 75 yards and a score and Erik Coleman came
up with a late interception for New York, which
has won three of its last four games. Tom Brady
completed 25-of-37 passes for 255 yards with a
TD and a pick and Corey Dillon had 11 rushes for
98 yards for the Patriots (6-3), who play next
week in Green Bay. Reche Caldwell had a career-best
nine catches for 90 yards and a touchdown and
Junior Seau had 11 tackles for New England, which
turned the ball over twice.

Philadelphia, PA (MySportsbook) - Donte Stallworth had six catches for
139 yards and a touchdown to help the Philadelphia
Eagles trounce the Washington Redskins, 27-3,
at Lincoln Financial Field. Donovan McNabb ended
12-of-26 for 222 yards with a TD toss while Brian
Westbrook accrued 150 all- purpose yards for the
Eagles (5-4), who had dropped three straight prior
to their bye week. Sheldon Brown had an interception
return for a touchdown to highlight a strong performance
by the Philly defense. Mark Brunell went 16- of-31
for just 132 yards with an interception for Washington
(3-6), which was coming off a wild 22-19 win over
Dallas. The Redskins have now dropped four of
their last five. That was not all the bad news
for Washington, as running back Clinton Portis
suffered a broken right hand in the first quarter
and did not return.

- Trevor Pryce blocked a 43-yard Rob Bironas field
goal attempt to secure a 27-26 comeback victory
for the Baltimore Ravens over the Tennessee Titans.
The Ravens (7-2) scored the game's last 20 points
after being down 26-7 in the first half. Steve
McNair threw for 373 yards on a 29-of-47 day,
with three touchdown passes and two interceptions
in his first game in Tennessee as a Raven. Mark
Clayton caught seven balls for 125 yards and a
touchdown. Jamal Lewis had a quiet day on the
ground, with only 45 yards on 16 carries. Travis
Henry had a big day for the Titans (2-7), rushing
27 times for 107 yards and one score. Vince Young
was 13- of-25 for 211 yards, with one interception.
Drew Bennett led all Titans receivers with 115
yards on six catches.

- Jake Plummer threw for 210 yards and two touchdowns,
and the Broncos overcame an early deficit and
three interceptions by their signal-caller to
beat Oakland, 17-13, at McAfee Coliseum. Plummer
completed 20-of-31 passes on the day for Denver
(7-2), but nearly cost his team a victory with
the three turnovers before orchestrating the game-
winning drive in the fourth quarter. The Broncos
were fresh off a 31-20 win in Pittsburgh last
week and have now won two of their last three.
They remained tied with San Diego atop the AFC
West, heading into next Sunday night's showdown
between the two clubs. Javon Walker caught two
passes for 62 yards and hauled in a touchdown
pass, while Stephen Alexander added six receptions
for 49 yards. Tatum Bell ran for 37 yards on 14
carries. Al Wilson had ten tackles and one sack
on defense, and Champ Bailey also recorded nine
tackles. Andrew Walter had a fairly bad day for
Oakland (2-7), completing just 18-of-33 passes
for 214 yards. While he didn't throw a pick, Walter
fumbled twice, including a turnover on the Raiders'
final possession of the game with under two minutes
remaining.

as three costly New Orleans fumbles, including

Deuce McAllister had a quiet day on the ground,
with 60 yards on 15 carries, but did score twice
for the Saints, who have lost two of their last
three.

and two touchdowns to lead the Dallas Cowboys
to a 27-10 rout of the Arizona Cardinals at University

Glenn, who sat out with an injured quadricep.
Crayton led all receivers with 104 yards on five
receptions and a score for Dallas (5-4), which
is tied with Philadelphia for second place in
the NFC East. Terrell Owens hauled in five passes
for 96 yards and a touchdown and Marion Barber
rushed for 65 yards on 14 carries with a score
in the victory. Matt Leinart completed 20-of-38
passes for 216 yards with two interceptions and
one rushing TD for Arizona (1-8), which has lost
eight straight. Larry Fitzgerald, who missed the
last three games with a hamstring injury, gained
80 yards on six catches and Edgerrin James was
held to just 68 yards on 15 carries in the loss.

- Josh Brown hit a 38-yard field goal with nine
seconds remaining to lift the Seattle Seahawks
to a thrilling 24-22 victory over the St. Louis
Rams in an NFC West showdown at Qwest Field. Seneca
Wallace completed 15-of-23 passes for 161 yards
and two touchdowns for the Seahawks, who remain
in first place in the NFC West. Maurice Morris
ran for 124 yards for Seattle (6-3), which has
won two straight and swept the season series over
St. Louis for the second straight season. Nate
Burleson had a 90-yard punt return for a touchdown
that helped change the momentum of the game. Darrell
Jackson hauled in five passes for 85 yards and
a touchdown while Jerramy Stevens also had a touchdown
reception for the Seahawks. Steven Jackson rushed
for 93 yards and a score for the Rams (4-5), who
have lost four straight. Jackson also caught six
passes for 40 yards. Torry Holt had seven receptions
for 73 yards and Isaac Bruce added seven catches
for 66 yards in the loss. Marc Bulger completed
26- of-40 passes for 215 yards and an interception.

as the Chicago Bears grabbed a stranglehold on

New York at Giants Stadium. Grossman completed

for the NFC North-leading Bears (8-1), who rebounded
from their lone loss of the season to take a two-game
lead over the Giants (6-3) and Saints for the
best record in the conference. Thomas Jones added
113 yards and a touchdown rushing and Muhsin Muhammad
had 123 yards and a score receiving for Chicago,
which scored 21 straight points during one stretch
and 35 of the final 42 points of the game to improve
to 8-1 for the first time since 1990. Eli Manning
ended 14-of-32 for 121 yards with two interceptions
and a lost fumble for New York, which had a five-game
win streak halted. Tiki Barber added 141 yards
rushing and Brandon Jacobs scored both touchdowns
for the Giants, whose lead in the NFC East fell
to one game over Philadelphia and Dallas.
