San
Francisco at Atlanta |
1:00 PM |

Georgia
Dome, Atlanta, Georgia
A pair
of struggling teams hoping to turn
their seasons around meet Sunday
when the San Francisco 49ers visit
the last-place Atlanta Falcons. Bodog Life Sportsbook
currently have the Falcons listed
as 3-point favorites versus the
49ers, and the game's over/under is
sitting at 37. Smith and Darrell
Jackson have both been busts, more
so with Jackson, while Gore is
a risky start this week, For Atlanta,
White is beginning to emerge as
a solid choice at wide receiver,
but not so much for the rest of
the roster. Crumpler's injury makes
him a risky start.

Cincinnati at Buffalo |

Ralph
Wilson Stadium, Orchard Park, New

J.P.
Losman will be back
as the Bills'
starting quarterback Sunday
as they try to continue their
dominance over the visiting
Cincinnati Bengals. Bodog Life Sportsbook currently
have the Bengals listed as
1-point favorites versus the
Bills, and the game's over/under
is sitting at 43½. The only
fantasy players worth focusing on
for the Bills are Lynch and Evans.
Cincinnati has a few fantasy studs
on its roster in Palmer, wide receivers
Houshmandzadeh and Chad Johnson and
running backs Watson and Rudi Johnson.
Houshmandzadeh is on a hot streak
right now you can't sit him.
Start'em:
Palmer, Housh, Ocho, Lynch, Evans

Denver at Detroit |
1:00 PM |
|
Ford
Field, Detroit, Michigan
A victory will give Detroit (5-2)
its best record midway through
a season since being 6-2 in 1999,
the last time it made the playoffs.
Denver has dropped four of its
last five and now plays four of
its next five on the road for the
first time since 1997. Bodog Life Sportsbook
currently have the Lions listed
as 3-point favorites versus the
Broncos, and the game's over/under
is sitting at 46. Both Kitna and
Cutler have been decent fantasy
plays this season due to their
passing yard numbers, Jones is
a must-play going up against a
poor run-stopping team, Be particularly
wary of starting any of the Lions'
pass-catchers, keep an eye on Henry's
status as gameday approaches.
Start'em:
Cutler, Henry (INJ), Marshall, Kitna,
Jones, Williams, Johnson

Carolina at Tennessee |
1:00 PM |
|
LP
Field, Nashville, Tennessee
Tennessee (5-2) is off to its
best start since opening 9-2 in
2003, the last season it reached
the playoffs. Carolina (4-3) has
its own issues in the passing game
thanks to a string of injuries
at quarterback. Bodog Life Sportsbook currently
have the Titans listed as 4-point
favorites versus the Panthers,
and the game's over/under is sitting
at 36, Not much fantasy wise here,
the Titans' White is on the brink
of becoming a consistently productive
fantasy player and Carolina's Steve
Smith is always capable of an eye-popping
performance.
Start'em:
Panthers DST, White, Titans DST

Arrowhead

Favre tries to keep the Packers
flying high when they visit Kansas
City on Sunday for the first time
in 11 years. Favre is 0-3 against
Kansas City, including a 27-20
loss in 1996. Bodog Life Sportsbook currently
have the Chiefs listed as 2-point
favorites versus the Packers, and the game's over/under is sitting at
37½. With four 300-yard
passing days in his last five starts,
Favre is once again a sure-fire
fantasy start, it might be worth
taking a flier on Grant after his
emergence against the Broncos.
LJ, and the Kansas City "D" are
recommended starts.
Start'em:
Favre, Driver, Jennings, Packers
DST, LJ, Gonzalez

Diego at Minnesota |

Metrodome,
Minneapolis, Minnesota
Now more conservative in the passing
game, Rivers and the Chargers go
for their fourth straight victory
when they visit the Minnesota Vikings
on Sunday. Bodog Life Sportsbook currently
have the Chargers listed as 7-point
favorites versus the Vikings, and the game's over/under is sitting at
41½. Tomlinson and Peterson
are both fantasy studs and obvious
every-week starters, Gates & Rivers
should make solid plays as well,
Whoever starts under center for
the Vikings should not be considered
this week.
Start'em:
Rivers, LT, Chambers, Gates, Chargers
DST, Peterson

Jacksonville at New
Orleans |
1:00 PM |

Superdome,
New Orleans, Louisiana
The Saints will be in for a challenge
as they try for their fourth straight
victory Sunday when they host the
Jacksonville Jaguars. Bodog Life Sportsbook
currently have the Saints listed
as 3½-point favorites versus
the Jaguars, and the game's over/under
is sitting at 40. Brees is finally
making fantasy owners happy, but
running back Bush and wide receiver
Colston are there to garner some
of the attention, Bush has been a
fantasy stud ever since the Saints
drafted him. The Jaguars have three
big fantasy players of their own
in running backs Taylor and Jones-Drew
and the defense.
Start'em:
Jones-Drew, Jaguars DST, Brees, Bush

Washington at NY

4:05 PM |

Giants
Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey
Kellen
Clemens takes over for Chad Pennington
under center and tries to help
the Jets end a five-game losing
streak when they host the Washington
Redskins. Bodog Life Sportsbook currently
have the Redskins listed as 4-point
favorites versus the Jets, and the game's over/under is sitting at
35½. Facing a suspect defense,
expect Moss, Randle-El, Portis
or Cooley, or maybe a combination
of them, to have strong games.
For the Jets, Coles, Cotchery and
Jones figure to be immediate beneficiaries
from the switch to Clemens
Start'em:
Portis, Moss, Cooley, Redskins DST
Sit'em:

Arizona at Tampa
Bay |
4:05 PM |
|
Raymond
James Stadium, Tampa, Florida
The Buccaneers (4-4) look to avoid
a three-game losing streak Sunday
when they host the equally inconsistent
Arizona Cardinals (3-4). Bodog Life Sportsbook
currently have the Buccaneers listed
as 3½-point favorites versus
the Cardinals, and the game's over/under is sitting at 38. Arizona
has the larger number of sure-fire
fantasy starters in this game,
with Warner, Fitzgerald, Boldin,
and probably James appearing in
lineups in most leagues. On the
Tampa side, it's backup central.
Garcia and Graham will give you
something but won't run wild, and
Galloway is hit-or-miss.
Start'em:
Warner, James, Boldin, Fitzgerald,
Garcia, Bucs DST (Sleeper)
Sit'em:

Seattle at Cleveland |
4:05 PM |
|
Cleveland
Browns Stadium, Cleveland, Ohio
The 4-3 Seahawks visit the 4-3
Browns on Sunday in Cleveland.
Both look to finish the first
half of the season with a winning
record. Seattle has won two
straight NFC West titles, and is
in good position to capture a third.
The Browns have
already matched their win total
from last season. Bodog Life Sportsbook currently
have the Browns listed as 1½-point
favorites versus the Seahawks,
and the game's over/under is sitting
at 47. Lots to choose from here.
Anderson, Edwards, and Winslow
have moved into the must-start
category at quarterback, WR, and
TE respectively. Hasselbeck's
minor injury shouldn't hinder the
quarterback too much. Alexander
is slumping, but can you bench
him here? Hackett's likely return
means that Burleson, and possibly
Engram, may see their production
slip a bit. Watch Branches gametime
status.
Start'em:
Hasselbeck, Alexander, Branch (INJ),
Anderson, Edwards, Winslow

Houston at Oakland |

The Texans try to snap a three-game
skid when they visit the Oakland
Raiders on Sunday. Bodog Life Sportsbook currently
have the Raiders listed as 3-point
favorites versus the Texans, and the game's over/under is sitting at
41½. Nobody here impresses
me except "maybe" the Raiders D.
This is ugly for fantasy ball.
Start'em:
A. Johnson (INJ), Walter (Sleeper),
McCown, Curry

New
England at Indianapolis |
4:15 PM |
|
RCA
Dome, Indianapolis, Indiana
One of the most highly anticipated
non-playoff games in recent memory
takes place on Sunday when the
New England Patriots visit the
Indianapolis Colts in the league's
first matchup of teams who are
unbeaten this far into a season.
Bodog Life Sportsbook currently have the Patriots
listed as 6-point favorites versus
the Colts, and the game's over/under
is sitting at 57. High-scoring
affairs are usually the norm whenever
these clubs get together, so a
case can be made for nearly every
regular offensive skill player
on both sides to receive a spot
on your roster.
Start'em:
Brady, Moss, Welker, Watson, Manning,
Addai, Wayne, Clark

Romo and the Cowboys play the first
of three straight games against divisional
foes on Sunday night when they visit
McNabb and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Bodog Life Sportsbook currently have the Cowboys
listed as 3-point favorites versus
the Eagles, and the game's over/under
is sitting at 47. Not a bad game
for your fantasy lineups. Romo, McNabb,
Westbrook, Owens and Witten, Barber
is scary this week, as are the D's.
Start'em:
Romo, Owens, Witten, McNabb, Westbrook

Baltimore at Pittsburgh |
Heinz
Field, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Pittsburgh (5-2) is sitting atop
the AFC North, but has company
as Baltimore (4-3) and Cleveland
(4-3) are just one game back. The
AFC North-leading Steelers are
unbeaten at Heinz Field this season
and have not lost a Monday night
game at home in more than 16 years.
Bodog Life Sportsbook currently have the Steelers
listed as 10-point favorites versus
the Ravens, and the game's over/under
is sitting at 36½. Tight ends
Todd Heap and Heath Miller are both
worth starting, as are both defenses,
as for the QB's they'll be decent
but not spectacular starts in this
one.
Start'em:
McGahee, Heap, Ravens DST, Roethlisberger,
Parker, Miller, Steelers DST
