It's beginning to look
like someone is playing a cruel joke on me this
football season. I have a winning record overall
on the NFL, but it seems as though the three picks
I give out in this section each week have been
doomed to fail. Each week, the countless radio
stations that I give out picks on have been benefitting
and now it's your turn.
Another 1-2 week simply
won't cut it for BetUS.com customers and I don't
blame you if you want to go opposite of my selections
this week. However, we still believe in the knowledge
and numbers we possess and will give it another
excellent shot for Week 6. Let's get back on the
horse and win some money.
Texans +13 @ Cowboys
This game strikes me as eerily
similar to that Tennessee game a couple of weeks
ago when Dallas ran up the score and prevailed
easily. The Cowboys are much better than Houston
and we expect them to show it big time here. Not
much more to say than that. Take the Cowboys and
lay the points.
Bills -1 @ Lions
One of the league's worst
pass defenses is just what J.P. Losman and the
Buffalo Bills ordered. Buffalo played their first
really awful game in Week 5 and will be chomping
at the bit to get out there and feast on a winless
Detroit squad. Willis McGahee and the Bills' offense
should explode. Take the Bills and lay the point.
Eagles -3.5 @ Saints
I don't want to say that
the clock will strike midnight, but the NFL will
finally see the difference between a great team
and one that has done it with smoke and mirrors
on defense. Normally, we would say that the Superdome
is just too tough a place to play right now for
opponents, but these are the Eagles. Andy Reid's
boys are mentally tough, battle-tested and still
on a mission to prove they belong among the league's
elite. The number one offense in the league will
punch holes New Orleans' defense all afternoon.
Take the Eagles and lay the points.
