Texan Trade 'Em?
BetUS.com Posts Odds On The Texans Trading Their
First Round Draft Pick
March
1, New York – The Houston Texans
have the number one pick in the upcoming NFL
Draft, and it has been widely speculated that
Reggie Bush, the Heisman Trophy winning running
back out of Southern California, would end up
in Houston’s Backfield. Adding credence
to this notion is the fact that they recently
gave quarterback David Carr a three-year contract
extension.
Statements made by Texans general
manager Charley Casserly on Sunday however show
that the Texans may be thinking about trading
the first pick in the 2006 draft. Casserly stated
that whether their pick looks like Leinart Bush
or Young, they will definitely get offers and
have already held discussions with teams.
In Response, the largest most
respected online sportsbook, BetUS.com has posted
odds as to whether the Texans will use their
draft choice, or trade it away.
“Despite the comments made
recently by Texans GM Charley Casserly, the
Texans are a team in desperate need of immediate
help,” stated BetUS.com spokesperson Matt
Ross, “This being the case, we are taking
those statements with a grain of salt, and the
fact that any of the top three guys in this
years draft would dramatically improve the Texans
in the upcoming season”.
Executives at BetUS.com posted
the following odds for Peyton Manning ever winning
a super bowl.
Will
Houston Texans trade their #1 draft pick?
Yes: 4/6
No: 11/10
