Final Score: New Orleans
31, Atlanta 13
Atlanta, GA (MySportsbook)
- Drew Brees threw for 349 yards and two touchdowns,
leading the New Orleans Saints to a 31-13 victory
over the reeling Atlanta Falcons in a big NFC
South matchup at the Georgia Dome. Brees completed
21-of-30 passes, including a Hail Mary for a score
at the end of the first half, and was not intercepted.
His favorite target was Devery Henderson, who
caught four passes for 158 yards and a touchdown.
The Saints (7-4), playing without standout rookie
receiver Marques Colston because of an ankle injury,
snapped a two-game losing streak and moved into
sole possession of first place in the NFC South.
Atlanta (5-6) had hopes of tightening the division
race even more, but instead suffered its fourth
straight loss to fall two games behind the Saints.
Michael Vick had a miserable day throwing the
ball for the Falcons, completing just 9-of-24
passes for only 84 yards. However, he did run
for 166 yards on 12 carries.
Final Score: Baltimore
27, Pittsburgh 0
Baltimore, MD (MySportsbook)
- Baltimore drove Ben Roethlisberger and, for
all practical purposes, the defending Super Bowl
champions out of the playoff picture, sacking
the signal-caller a career-high nine times en
route to a dominating 27-0 victory over Pittsburgh
at M&T Bank Stadium. Baltimore (9-2) starts
an important two-game road trip in Cincinnati
next Thursday night on the heels of a five-game
winning streak. Steve McNair was efficient with
140 passing yards and a touchdown before becoming
a spectator early in the fourth quarter, and Jamal
Lewis rushed for 66 yards and a score before joining
McNair on the bench. Roethlisberger finished 21-of-41
for 214 yards and two interceptions with Willie
Parker managing just 22 yards on the ground. Parker,
despite entering the game as the third-leading
rusher in the conference, has yet to reach the
100-yard plateau on the road. The Steelers (4-7)
were shut out for the second time in a season
for the first time since 1989.
Final Score: Buffalo
27, Jacksonville 24
Orchard Park, NY (MySportsbook) - Rian Lindell kicked a game-winning
42- yard field goal as time expired in the fourth
quarter to lift Buffalo over Jacksonville, 27-24,
at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Down 24-17 with three
minutes remaining in regulation, Jacksonville
put together an 11-play, 62-yard series and knotted
the game, 24-24. David Garrard lobbed a three-yard
pass to Matt Jones, who made a leaping catch in
the end zone for the touchdown with 28 seconds
remaining. Buffalo, though, gained possession
at its own 40-yard line, and on 2nd-and-4, J.P.
Losman connected with Roscoe Parrish along the
left sideline for a 30-yard pass. The catch was
reviewed by the officials and upheld as replays
showed Parrish got both feet inbounds, setting
up Lindell's winning kick.
Final Score: Cincinnati
30, Cleveland 0
Cleveland, OH (MySportsbook)
- Carson Palmer threw for 275 yards and three
touchdowns and Chad Johnson racked up over 100
yards receiving for the third straight game, as
Cincinnati kept pace in the AFC playoff picture
with a 30-0 drubbing of rival Cleveland. Johnson

450 yards receiving and five touchdowns in the
last two games. T.J. Houshmandzadeh had 79 yards

the Bengals, who have won two straight. Cincinnati
(6-5) turns around quickly to host division-leading
Baltimore on Thursday night. Charlie Frye finished
18-of-29 for 186 yards with four interceptions,
while Cleveland managed little on the ground.
Jerome Harrison led the way with 18 yards rushing
on three carries. Cleveland (3-8), which has lost
three of four, hosts Kansas City next Sunday.

Minneapolis, MN (MySportsbook)

Anquan Boldin caught nine passes for 140 yards
with a touchdown and Larry Fitzgerald grabbed
11 balls for 172 yards. Edgerrin James had 15
yards rushing on just four carries, as Arizona

a touchdown and two picks, including one in the
closing seconds that sealed the game.

Landover, MD (MySportsbook)

a touchdown and two interceptions for Carolina
(6-5), which had a two-game winning streak stopped.

for first place in the NFC South, as the Saints
beat Atlanta on Sunday.

San Diego, CA (MySportsbook)

their fifth consecutive victory when they topped
the lowly Oakland Raiders, 21-14, in a divisional
battle at Qualcomm Stadium. Phillip Rivers completed
14-of-31 passes for 133 yards with an interception

franchise's best start after 10 games since winning
eight of their first 10 in the 1994 campaign.
That year the club made its only Super Bowl, but
lost to the San Francisco 49ers. Antonio Gates
caught six balls for 81 yards and a touchdown,
and Vincent Jackson had three catches for 32 yards
in the win. Aaron Brooks completed 17- of-30 passes

games and were ensured their fourth straight losing
season.
Final Score: New England
17, Chicago 13
Foxboro, MA (MySportsbook)
- Asante Samuel came up with three interceptions,
including a leaping grab in the closing minutes
to seal the game, as the New England Patriots

touchdown and ended 22-of-33 for 269 yards with
a pair of interceptions for the Patriots (8-3),
who overcame five turnovers to win their second
in a row. Ben Watson had six catches for 89 yards

who suffered their first road loss of the season.
Final Score: Tennessee
24, NY Giants 21
Nashville, TN (MySportsbook)
- Vince Young orchestrated a 24-point fourth quarter
that helped the Titans overcome a 21-point deficit
and beat the New York Giants, 24-21, at LP Field.
Rob Bironas capped the comeback with a 49- yard
field goal with six seconds left, giving Young
what could be considered the most satisfying and
impressive win of his brief NFL career. Young,
a rookie, completed 24-of-35 passes for a career-high
249 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions
for the Titans (4-7), who have won two straight.
He also ran for a score and led the team with
69 yards on the ground, as Tennessee scored 24
points with under 10 minutes to play to escape
with the win. Eli Manning struggled once again
for the Giants (6-5), who have dropped three straight
to fall one game behind the Dallas Cowboys in
the NFC East. His two fourth-quarter interceptions
led to 10 Tennessee points, three of which were
the winning points. The third-year signal-caller
ended 18-of-28 for 143 yards with one touchdown.
Final Score: Indianapolis

Indianapolis, IN (MySportsbook) - Joseph Addai tied a team-record with

21-14 loss to Dallas. Jeff Garcia, starting his
first game in place of Donovan McNabb, who suffered
a season- ending ACL tear in his right knee during
Philadelphia's 31-13 home loss to Tennessee last
week, finished 19-of-23 with 140 yards and two
touchdowns for the Eagles (5-6), who have dropped
five of their last six games and would need a
miracle to make the playoffs. Brian Westbrook
carried the ball 20 times for 124 yards and one
touchdown, becoming the first Eagles player since
Wilbert Montgomery in 1981 to have three consecutive
100-yard games.
