intercepted a potentially game-winning pass in
the end zone, as the Kansas City Chiefs held off
the Oakland Raiders, 17-13, at Arrowhead Stadium.
Trent Green returned to the field to complete
9-of-16 passes for 102 yards for the Chiefs (6-4),
who have won four of their last five. Michael
Bennett rushed for 43 yards on three attempts,
and Samie Parker caught three balls for 44 yards.
Aaron Brooks, who strained his right shoulder
against Baltimore in Week 2, returned to the starting
lineup for the first time since September 17.
He completed 13- of-22 passes for 179 yards with
a touchdown and the game-ending interception for
the Raiders (2-8), who lost their second straight
game. Oakland's top running back LaMont Jordan
left with 4:18 remaining in the first after suffering
a torn left MCL on a 12-yard run, and failed to
return. Justin Fargas rushed for 52 yards on 19
carries, and Curry had five receptions for 85
yards in defeat.

- Jamal Lewis scored three second-half touchdowns
and B.J. Sams ignited the offense with six kick
returns for 212 yards to lead the Baltimore Ravens
to a 24-10 victory over the Atlanta Falcons at
M&T Bank Stadium. Lewis ran for 91 yards on
22 carries for the Ravens (8-2), who have won
four straight since dropping two in a row before
their bye week. Sams returned three kickoffs for
91 yards and had three punt returns for 121. Steve
McNair had a solid day, completing 24-of-34 passes
for 236 yards without an interception in the victory.
Michael Vick completed just 11-of-21 passes for
127 yards with a touchdown and was Atlanta's leading
rusher with 54 yards on six scrambles. The Falcons
(5-5) have lost three in a row, but still trail
New Orleans and Carolina by one game for first
place in the NFC South. Atlanta will host the
Saints next Sunday.

- DeAngelo Williams ran for 114 yards and Mike
Rucker had two sacks, including one for a safety,
to lead a Panthers defense that held St. Louis
to just 111 yards of offense, as Carolina came
away with a 15-0 win over the Rams at Bank of
America Stadium. Jake Delhomme finished 13- of-25
for 191 yards with a touchdown and an interception
for the Panthers (6-4), who have won two straight
and moved into a first-place tie with the Saints
atop the NFC South. New Orleans lost to Cincinnati
on Sunday, 31-16. Steve Smith added 90 yards and
touchdown on four receptions for Carolina, which
literally ran all over the Rams. The Panthers
recorded a franchise- record 242 yards on the
ground. Thomas Davis, Chris Draft and Damione
Lewis had 1 1/2 sacks each, as the Panthers sacked
Marc Bulger a franchise-record seven times. Steven
Jackson had 27 of the 31 yards rushing for the
Rams, who had only eight first downs, converted
only 2-of-12 third downs and lost the time of
possession battle nearly 2-to-1. Bulger ended
19-of-34 for 142 yards with an interception for
St. Louis (4-6), which has lost five in a row.

- Ben Roethlisberger threw for 224 yards and two
touchdowns in the fourth quarter, leading three
scoring drives in the final 15 minutes capped
by a four-yard TD toss to Willie Parker with 32
seconds left, as the Pittsburgh Steelers rallied
to stun the Cleveland Browns, 24-20. The game
was still in doubt until Charlie Frye's last-gasp
pass in the end zone with no time left on the
clock fell to the ground following Braylon Edwards'
failed attempt to haul in the pass on a tip drill.
Roethlisberger finished 25-of-44 for 272 yards,
as Pittsburgh (4-6) won its second straight with
an important date with division-leading Baltimore
next Sunday. Frye was 17-of-27 for 224 yards,
while Edwards hauled in a career- high seven passes
for a career-high 137 yards for Cleveland (3-7),
losers in two of its last three. They will host
Cincinnati next Sunday.

- Tom Brady completed 20-of-31 passes for 244
yards and four touchdowns as the New England Patriots
routed the Green Bay Packers, 35-0, at Lambeau
Field. Benjamin Watson made five catches for 74
yards and a score while Reche Caldwell hauled
in three catches for 70 yards and a TD for the
Patriots (7-3), who avoided their first three-game
losing streak since 2002. Laurence Maroney ran
the ball 19 times for 82 yards and caught four
passes for 34 yards and a touchdown for New England,
which tied a franchise record for its seventh
consecutive road win (2003-04). The Pats played
at Lambeau Field for the first time since 1979.
Brett Favre, who started his 231st consecutive
game, was 5-of-15 for 73 yards before injuring
his right arm before the end of the second quarter.
He did not return to the contest. Aaron Rodgers
didn't fare much better, completing just 4-of-12
passes for 32 yards for Green Bay (4-6), which
had won the previous three meetings, including
Super Bowl XXXI.

- Peerless Price's 15-yard touchdown reception
with just nine seconds left in the game, gave
the Buffalo Bills a thrilling 24-21 victory over
the Houston Texans at Reliant Stadium. Lee Evans
finished with 11 receptions for a career-high
265 yards and two touchdowns. Evans also set a
franchise record with 205 yards receiving in the
first quarter. J.P. Losman was 26-of-38 for 340
yards with three touchdowns and an interception
for the Bills (4-6), who have won two of their
last three games. Houston quarterback David Carr,
who came into the game listed as probable with
a bruised right shoulder, completed 25-of-30 passes
for 223 yards with an interception. Carr also
completed 22 straight passes and tied Washington's
Mark Brunell's record for most consecutive passes
completed in a single game, set earlier this season
against Houston. Carr dumped a short pass off
to Wali Lundy for no gain to tie Brunell's mark
in the fourth quarter, and on the following play,
overthrew Andre Johnson on an out route.

- Renaldo Hill returned a fumble for a touchdown
and Jason Taylor scored on an interception return
in the fourth quarter, as the Miami Dolphins rallied
for a 24-20 victory over the Minnesota Vikings
at Dolphin Stadium. Joey Harrington, who was 0-6
against Minnesota during his tenure with Detroit,
threw for 254 yards with a touchdown and an interception
for the Dolphins (4-6). Miami won its third straight
game despite an anemic rushing attack that was
held to minus-three yards by Minnesota's top-ranked
rushing defense. The Dolphins were outgained 361-251
overall, but three fourth-quarter turnovers proved
to be the difference. Chester Taylor ran for 80
yards with a pair of touchdowns for the Vikings,
but fumbled twice. His second fumble of the fourth
quarter was returned 48 yards by Hill for the
go- ahead touchdown. Minnesota quarterback Brad
Johnson completed 26-of-44 passes for 262 yards,
but his fourth-quarter interception was returned
51 yards by Jason Taylor for the game-sealing
touchdown. The Vikings (4-6) have lost four in
a row.

- Chad Johnson's six receptions for 190 yards
and three touchdowns led the Cincinnati Bengals
to a 31-16 win over the New Orleans Saints at
the Superdome. Carson Palmer completed 14-of-22
passes for 275 yards, three touchdowns and one
pick. Rudi Johnson rumbled for 111 yards on 27
carries for the Bengals (5-5), who broke a three-game
losing streak in impressive fashion. Drew Brees
set a Saints single-game passing record by throwing
for 510 yards on 37-of-52 completions and two
touchdowns, but also threw three costly interceptions.
Joe Horn caught three balls for 93 yards and a
touchdown, and Terrance Copper hauled in six receptions
for 87 yards and one score for the Saints (6-4),
who have lost three of their last four games.
New Orleans' loss coupled with Carolina's home
win over St. Louis puts both teams in a tie atop
the NFC South. The Saints will face the Atlanta
Falcons (5-5) next Sunday.

carries as the Chicago Bears eeked out a 10-0
win over the New York Jets at Giants Stadium.
Rex Grossman completed 11-of-22 passes for 119
yards and a touchdown for the Bears (9-1), who
beat the Giants, 38-20, at Giants Stadium last
Sunday night. Mark Bradley hauled in four passes
for 80 yards and a score. Brian Urlacher made
11 tackles and picked off a pass while Nathan
Vasher also intercepted a ball for Chicago, which
is 9-1 for the first timce since 1990. Chad Pennington
was 19-of-35 for 162 yards with two interceptions,
including one in the Chicago end zone, while Laveranues
Coles made eight catches for 80 yards for the
Jets (5-5), who were shutout twice for the first
time in a season since 1989. Cedric Houston ran
the ball 11 times for 50 yards for New York, which
has lost two of its last three games.

Philadelphia, PA (MySportsbook) - Travis Henry rushed for 143 yards and
a touchdown to guide the Tennessee Titans to a
31-13 upset win over the Philadelphia Eagles at
Lincoln Financial Field. In even more devastating
news for the Eagles, Donovan McNabb left the game
early in the second quarter with a torn anterior
cruciate ligament in his right knee. Head coach
Andy Reid said after the game that the injury
will require surgery and an 8-12 month recovery
time. Jeff Garcia came in to replace McNabb and
ended 26-of-48 for 189 yards and a touchdown for
Philadelphia (5-5), which has dropped four of
its last five. Brian Westbrook had 148 total yards
in defeat.Vince Young was 8-of-22 for 101 yards
with a TD toss and added 49 yards rushing while
Pacman Jones returned a punt 90 yards for a touchdown
for the Titans (3-7), who snapped a two-game losing
streak.

- Bruce Gradkowski threw a pair of touchdown passes
and Cadillac Williams ran for 122 yards to lead
the Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the Washington Redskins,
20-17, at Raymond James Stadium. Gradkowski finished
14-of-21 for 178 yards for the Bucs (3-7), who
ended a three-game slide. Joey Galloway added
64 yards and a touchdown on four catches for Tampa
Bay, which scored 17 second-half points on its
way to defeating the beat-up Redskins. Washington
was playing without starting running back Clinton
Portis and starting wide receiver Santana Moss,
and had a starting quarterback making his NFL
debut. Jason Campbell, taking over for the ineffective
Mark Brunell under center, ended 19-of-34 for
196 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions.
He was solid in his first game after being inactive
for the first 27 contests of his career, but without
a strong running game the Redskins were doomed.
Ladell Betts started in place of Portis, who is
out for the year with a broken hand. He ended
with 18 yards on seven carries for Washington
(3-7), which has lost two straight and five of
six. T.J. Duckett led the Redskins' rushing game
with 26 yards on five carries and Chris Cooley
had five catches for 58 yards with a touchdown.

- Matt Leinart completed 19-of-29 passes for 233
yards with one touchdown passing and one rushing
to lead the Arizona Cardinals to a 17-10 victory
over the hapless Detroit Lions in a battle of
last-place teams. The Lions (2-8) squandered a
number of scoring chances on their way to their
second consecutive loss, and their third of four.
Jon Kitna was 23-of-38 for 248 yards and one interception
in the loss. Arlen Harris, who replaced Kevin
Jones after he left in the second quarter with
an ankle injury, rushed 10 times for 40 yards
and one touchdown. Mike Furrey caught six balls
for 67 yards for the Lions. Edgerrin James rushed
22 times for 96 yards for the Cardinals (2-8),
who snapped an eight-game losing streak with the
win. Anquan Boldin caught five balls for 87 yards
for the Cardinals. Bryant Johnson added 47 yards
on four catches with a touchdown for Arizona.

San Francisco, CA (MySportsbook) - Frank Gore rushed for a team record
212 yards as the San Francisco 49ers ruined Shaun
Alexander's return to the Seattle lineup with
a 20-14 victory at Monster Park. Arnaz Battle
caught five passes for 47 yards and a touchdown
for the 49ers (5-5), who have rattled off three
straight wins for the first time since the 2002
season and are now one game behind Seattle in
the NFC West. San Francisco quarterback Alex Smith
completed 19-of-25 passes for 163 yards and two
touchdowns, one through the air and one on the
ground. Alexander returned to action for Seattle
after missing the last six games with a cracked
bone in his foot and rushed for just 37 yards
on 17 carries. Seneca Wallace started in place
of Matt Hasselbeck, who has missed the last four
games with a sprained knee was listed as Seattle's
third quarterback. Wallace struggled, completing
19-of-31 passes for 255 yards with two touchdowns
and three interceptions. Deion Branch hauled in
seven passes for 113 yards and a touchdown for
the Seahawks (6-4), who were aiming for their
third straight victory.

- Marion Barber rushed for a pair of touchdowns
in the fourth quarter as the Dallas Cowboys scored
14 unanswered points to down the previously unbeaten
Indianapolis Colts, 21-14, at Texas Stadium. Barber
had 35 yards on nine carries while fellow tailback
Julius Jones had 79 rushing yards for the Cowboys
(6-4), who have won three of their last four games.
Tony Romo finished 19-of-23 for 226 yards and
an interception. He improved to 3-1 as a starter
since taking over for Drew Bledsoe. Peyton Manning,
meanwhile, went 20-of-39 for 254 yards with a
pair of touchdowns and interceptions for Indianapolis
(9-1), which was the only team in NFL history
to start the season 9-0 in back-to-back seasons.
Reggie Wayne had seven catches for 111 yards and
a TD, and Marvin Harrison hauled in six balls
for 94 yards.

games Philip Rivers threw for 222 yards on 19-of-26
passing with two touchdowns and a pair of interceptions
and Vincent Jackson had three catches for 39 yards
and a score in San Diego's fourth consecutive
victory. Mike Bell ran for 90 yards and two touchdowns
on 20 carries while Jake Plummer completed 13
of his 28 passes for 183 yards and one interception
for the Broncos (7-3), who had a two-game winning
streak halted. Javon Walker hauled in four passes
for 68 yards and Damien Nash had 52 yards rushing
on 10 touches in defeat.
