    REPORT DATES:
Rookies July 27th, Veterans July 28th SITE: Eastern
Washington University, Cheney, WA CAMP OBJECTIVES:
The secondary was the Seahawks' weak link in 2005,
and the organization added the likes of rookie corner
Kelly Jennings (Miami (FL)) and former Bears safety
Mike Green to try and assist in that area. Both will
have to learn quickly during camp. Elsewhere on defense,
the linebacking corps brings on Julian Peterson as
an upgrade over Jamie Sharper at one of the outside
slots. The biggest offseason noise on the offensive
side of the ball for Mike Holmgren's team was Pro
Bowl left guard Steve Hutchinson's move to the Minnesota
Vikings, and either holdover Pork Chop Womack or free
agent pickup Tom Ashworth (Patriots) will have to
prove capable of filling the void there. Former Vikings
wideout and 1,000-yard receiver Nate Burleson is the
highest-profile new face on the offense, and will
be looked to take some of the pressure off of No.
                            1 receiver Darrell Jackson.
