    REPORT DATES:
Rookies July 27th, Veterans July 27th SITE: Millsaps
                            College, Jackson, MS CAMP OBJECTIVES:
Most of New Orleans' camp storylines will revolve
around offensive newcomers Drew Brees and Reggie Bush,
though how much either the quarterback or running
back actually sees the field is subject to debate.
New head coach Sean Payton will have plenty of other
issues with which to occupy his time, including evaluating
the health of both running back Deuce McAllister and
wideout Joe Horn after both suffered through injury-plagued
2005 seasons. The offensive line is also something
of a concern, after mainstays like tackle Wayne Gandy
(Falcons) and center LeCharles Bentley (Browns) escaped
to greener pastures. Defensively, new coordinator
Gary Gibbs has to find three linebackers from a list
of youngsters, castoffs, and misfits that can play,
and end Will Smith needs to prove that he is ready
to fill the pass-rushing void left by free agent defection
Darren Howard (Eagles). In the secondary, rookie Roman
Harper (Alabama) and veteran Bryan Scott (Falcons)
will try to supplant holdovers Dwight Smith and Josh
                            Bullocks at the safety slots.
