 Odds to win the
Super Bowl are in parenthesis. 1) Chicago Bears, 6-0
                                (7:2) Chicago barely survived at
Arizona, but that is what great teams do. 2) San Diego Chargers,
4-1 (9:1) The Chargers keep playing
at a very high level, and could easily be 5-0. 3) Indianapolis Colts,
                                5-0 (13:2) The Colts haven’t played
as well as their record indicates, and they drop
                                down. 4) Denver Broncos, 4-1
(12:1) The Denver defense has been
amazing, but they will need to score more soon. 5) New England Patriots,
4-1 (15:2) The Patriots coaching staff
gives them an immediate advantage every week. 6) Seattle Seahawks,
4-1 (12:1) Shaun Alexander is out two
more weeks. Seattle needs to hold down the fort. 7) Philadelphia Eagles,
4-2 (20:1) The Eagles lost at New Orleans
last week, but are ranked slightly ahead. 8) New Orleans Saints,
5-1 (25:1) Win over Philadelphia finally
gives this team the respect they deserve. 9) Carolina Panthers,
                                4-2 (10:1) Carolina’s 4-0 record
with Steve Smith may make him the league’s
MVP. 10) St. Louis Rams, 4-2
(60:1) The Rams blew a great opportunity
to take over the NFC West from Seattle. 11) Baltimore Ravens,
4-2 (25:1) The Ravens last two games
prove that their offense is still the weak link. 12) Dallas Cowboys, 3-2
(25:1) Terrell Owens is still a
ticking time bomb despite three touchdowns last
                                week. 13) Jacksonville Jaguars,
3-2 (25:1) The Jaguars were interested
in Randy Moss. It would have been a bold move. 14) New York Giants,
3-2 (20:1) MNF game at Dallas pits student
(Tom Coughlin) versus teacher (Bill Parcells). 15) Cincinnati Bengals,
                                3-2 (14:1) The Bengals’ extremely
potent offense is suddenly missing in action. 16) Atlanta Falcons,
                                3-2 (30:1) Michael Vick is the NFL’s
28th ranked quarterback, is it that high? 17) Pittsburgh Steelers,
2-3 (25:1) Win at Atlanta this week
would help salvage a very poor start to the season. 18) Minnesota Vikings,
3-2 (100:1) Every game the Vikings have
played this year has been close, will it continue? 19) New York Jets, 3-3
(200:1) The Jets have beaten three
very bad teams, and lost to three very good ones. 20) Kansas City Chiefs,
2-3 (150:1) The Chiefs blowout at Pittsburgh
was their only bad game since Week One. 21) Washington Redskins,
2-4 (125:1) You knew one team in the
NFC East would falter this year, looks like the
                                Skins. 22) Buffalo Bills, 2-4
                                (N/A) Quarterback J.P. Losman is
trying to develop the consistency needed to win. 23) Tampa Bay Buccaneers,
1-4 (N/A) The Buccaneers are still
fighting hard even after their horrendous start. 24) San Francisco 49ers,
                                2-4 (N/A) San Francisco’s 12
total turnovers is the second worst mark in the
                                NFC. 25) Arizona Cardinals,
1-5 (N/A) Arizona blew their MNF game
versus Chicago, but at least they showed some
                                moxie. 26) Green Bay Packers,
1-4 (N/A) Packers play at Miami in
what is shaping up as the snoozer of the week. 27) Cleveland Browns,
                                1-4 (N/A) 4.5 point spread against
Denver this week shows this team has its backers. 28) Tennessee Titans,
                                1-5 (N/A) Vince Young’s development
as a passer is coming sooner than expected. 29) Miami Dolphins, 1-5
(N/A) Coach Nick Saban has gone
from genius to incompetent in just six games. 30) Houston Texans, 1-4
                                (N/A) The injured Domanick Davis
would have helped the NFL’s worst run offense. 31) Detroit Lions, 1-5
(N/A) The Lions win over the Bills
last week was a huge monkey off their back. 32) Oakland Raiders,
0-5 (N/A) The Raiders are the only
winless team in the NFL, and deservedly so. For
