 Odds to win the
Super Bowl are in parenthesis. 1) Indianapolis Colts,
3-0 (19:4) Indianapolis is holding strong
despite suffering a number of key injuries. 2) Seattle Seahawks,
                                3-0 (7:1) Running back, Shaun Alexander’s
broken foot puts this ranking in jeopardy. 3) Cincinnati Bengals,
3-0 (6:1) Cincinnati needs to avoid
a letdown after winning in Pittsburgh last week. 4) Chicago Bears, 3-0
(7:1) Rex Grossman has a lot of
moxie, but is he a championship level quarterback? 5) Baltimore Ravens,
3-0 (15:1) Ravens need to start scoring
touchdowns or they will go on a downward path. 6) New England Patriots,
2-1 (10:1) The Patriots look to avoid
back to back losses for the first time since 2002. 7) Atlanta Falcons, 2-1
(30:1) The loss to the Saints was
a by-product of poor play and a great home crowd. 8) Jacksonville Jaguars,
                                2-1 (30:1) Loss at Indianapolis shouldn’t
downgrade what is a solid overall team. 9) San Diego Chargers,
2-0 (14:1) The Chargers first real test
comes this week at the Baltimore Ravens. 10) Philadelphia Eagles,
2-1 (18:1) The Philadelphia Eagles quietly
have the number one rated offense in the NFL. 11) Denver Broncos, 2-1
                                (16:1) Denver’s impressive
win at New England gets fans on the bandwagon
                                again. 12) Dallas Cowboys, 1-1
                                (16:1) The Cowboys never really
know which Drew Bledsoe will show up each week. 13) Pittsburgh Steelers,
1-2 (16:1) The defending champs are
still a lot better than their record indicates. 14) Minnesota Vikings,
2-1 (30:1) Coach, Brad Childress has
done a tremendous job despite last week’s
                                loss. 15) Carolina Panthers,
                                1-2 (16:1) Steve Smith’s return
has already changed the dynamic of the whole team. 16) New Orleans Saints,
                                3-0 (50:1) 3-0 is 3-0, and the Saints
probably deserve more respect than this ranking. 17) New York Giants,
1-2 (25:1) Someone tell Jeremy Shockey
to close his pie-hole and start making catches. 18) Washington Redskins,
1-2 (40:1) The Redskins would like to
schedule the Texans 16 times per season. 19) St. Louis Rams, 2-1
(60:1) St. Louis is one team that
still has the so-called experts extremely baffled. 20) Miami Dolphins, 1-2
(40:1) Dolphins got a close home
win over Tennessee last week. Is that good or
bad? 21) New York Jets, 2-1
(100:1) Eric Mangini might win coach
of the year if they gave the award after three
                                games. 22) Buffalo Bills, 1-2
(100:1) Two solid opening weeks all
go for naught in an ugly home loss to the Jets. 23) Arizona Cardinals,
1-2 (100:1) The Matt Leinart era has
begun, but he could easily struggle the rest of
the year. 24) Kansas City Chiefs,
0-2 (100:1) Coach Herm Edwards thinks
his team is good. Unfortunately, he is the only
                                one. 25) Tampa Bay Buccaneers,
0-3 (200:1) Dreadful start, plus injured
quarterback, means a very long year in Tampa. 26) Green Bay Packers,
1-2 (300:1) Brett Favre still cares about
the wins and losses. The rest of the team follows
                                suit. 27) San Francisco 49ers,
                                1-2 (300:1) The 49ers are a young and
inconsistent team that should keep improving. 28) Cleveland Browns,
0-3 (1000:1) Coach Romeo Crenell is stuck
in one of the best divisions in football. 29) Detroit Lions, 0-3
(1000:1) The Lions are the most disappointing
team in this young season. 30) Tennessee Titans,
0-3 (1,000:1) The Titans put a scare into
Miami last week. Talk about your moral victories. 31) Houston Texans, 0-3
                                (1000:1) The Texans’ defense
is giving up almost 500 yards per game. That is
                                incredible. 32) Oakland Raiders,
0-2 (500:1) The good news is the
Raiders didn’t lose last week. The bad news
                                is they didn’t play. For
