PLAYERS TO START - WEEK 4 CHEATSHEETS Michael
Vick, QB, Atlanta
Vick is the most unique fantasy
football quarterback in the NFL. He is averaging
only 123 yards passing per game, but combines
it with 77 yards rushing. Those stats help make
him the 9th rated fantasy quarterback year to
date. Vick will do nothing to hurt that ranking
this week when he gets the Arizona defense at
home.
Julius Jones, RB, Dallas
With the Terrell Owens situation
still being sorted out, and Terry Glenn dealing
with a hand injury, the Cowboys are going to heavily
rely on the running game this week at Tennessee.
Jones will get a heavy load as the featured runner,
with Marion Barber sure to be in the mix as well.
Doug Gabriel, WR, New
England
Gabriel had six receptions
for 65 yards last week against Denver, and that
was only playing in the second half. Granted,
some of those receptions were against soft coverage
when Denver was way ahead, but Gabriel looks like
he could be the team’s number one receiver
in place of Deion Branch.
Dallas Clark, TE, Indianapolis
Clark is averaging 32 yards
receiving per game and has two touchdowns overall.
With receiver, Reggie Wayne questionable due to
the passing of his brother and Brandon Stokley
also questionable, Clark is needed this week against
the Jets. One other factor is the Colts are sure
to be passing the ball a ton this week.
Players to Bench - Week 4 CHEATSHEETS
Kurt Warner, QB, Arizona
Here is the story with Warner.
Earlier in the week, it was said that he had a
hand injury and rookie Matt Leinart will start.
Now, Warner will start, and there is no mention
of any injury. The writing is on the wall for
Kurt, and he will struggle against an angry Falcons’
defense that got abused in New Orleans last week.
Maurice Morris, RB, Seattle
Shaun Alexander is out at
least this week with a broken foot. That means
that Morris will get the bulk of the carries,
although fullback Mack Strong could get some as
well. Morris will be going against a tough Bears’
defense in Chicago, and fantasy owners should
take a week off from him and see how he performs.
Marty Booker, WR, Miami
Booker is the number two
receiver playing against a Houston defense that
has performed horribly so far this season. We
still say don’t start him. Booker has only
averaged 35 yards receiving the last two weeks
as quarterback Daunte Culpepper is really struggling.
Chris Cooley, TE, Washington
After having a great
season in 2005 with 71 catches for 774 yards,
Cooley is the forgotten man this year with the
Redskins. Cooley has 38 receiving yards on the
year, and only 18 last week when Mark Brunell
threw for 261 yards. Don’t look for a rebound
this week against a tough Jacksonville defense.
