NFL
fantasy football Injuries - November 30, 2006
by: VIP.com
Sports Edge details the most
important injuries for NFL
Week 13. The NFL Network broadcasts their
second game of the season, and if you can find
the channel, then you can see a good one in Baltimore
at Cincinnati. The Bengals are favored by three
points.
Both Baltimore
and Cincinnati have designs on the playoffs,
although it is the Bengals who are in jeopardy
of not making it. Injuries could play a big part
in this game with linebacker, Ray Lewis and tight
end, Todd Heap both questionable for the Ravens.
However, both are expected to play at least some
tonight.
The NY
Giants are slowing getting healthier as
defensive end Osi Umenyiora, linebacker Brandon
Short, and cornerback Sam Madison look like they
might be able to give it a go this week versus
Dallas. The Giants are 3.5 point underdogs at
home, partially due to their wide assortment of
injuries.
Running back, Ronnie Brown
is out for Miami this week against Jacksonville.
Sammy Morris will take his place, and a good effort
is needed if Miami is to win and keep their playoff
hopes alive. This game is an Even spread in Miami.
Pittsburgh is missing two
of their big guns this week in receiver Hines
Ward and safety Troy Polamula. They are not only
great players, they are both emotional leaders
on their side of the ball. Even with these two
players out, Pittsburgh is favored by seven points
at home against Tampa Bay.
Seattle quarterback, Matt
Hasselbeck returned to action last week after
his knee injury. Now, Hasselbeck has a fractured
finger on his non-throwing hand, but he is listed
as probable this week at Denver on Sunday night.
The Seahawks are three point underdogs in quarterback
Jay Cutler’s starting debut.
Carolina running back,
DeShaun Foster is questionable for Monday night
at Philadelphia with an elbow injury. DeAngelo
Williams did pretty good as his replacement last
week, but the Panthers need a two-headed rushing
approach, especially with quarterback Jake Delhomme
struggling. Carolina is favored by three points.
